I strolled around the mall, It's been almost an hour. Tanny wanted me to accompany her to the salon that was in the mall. They are expensive but apparently, she had saved up some money doing an internship. Hence she wanted to treat herself. I waited for her at the salon but after a while I was bored and I wasn't in the mood to do anything in the salon, which ended with me wandering in the mall while I waited for Tanny to finish her grooming.

I sighed as I entered a clothes store. All of us would be going back home tomorrow. Just to think about it hurts. Although most of us lived in the same city our schedules never allowed us to meet up often.

Veer Bhai's birthday party was successful. It looked like Meera Di and Veer Bhai were finally getting closer. Tanny and I couldn't be happier. What surprised me the most was that Meera Di had invited Kabir to the party.

I pushed through the racks of some Kurtis and pouted. The color that I wanted wasn't here. I wanted a green Kurti. I blushed slightly when I remembered how Kabir had complimented me at Veer Bhai's birthday party. I was wearing green that day. It made me feel fuzzy and warm.

We conversed, and it was easy to talk to him. My heart raced and my belly fluttered the entire time, no one had ever complimented me like he had. Do I like him? I sighed and leaned against the mirror wall. Yes, I like him. I like him so much, but I am scared to admit it. He makes me extremely nervous but in a good way.

Ugh! Why do I have to be this way? I don't even have his number. Asking Meera Di his number would be out of the question. That's just insane! Maybe if we're meant to be we'll run into each other. For now, I decided to not think about Kabir.

I strolled around for a few more minutes. I found some cute shoes so I decided to buy it. I exited the store after paying for my bill. I spotted a music store on the other side of the floor. My mood brightened up immediately.

I wanted to buy a few CDs for my dance practice. I know these days everything is available online. All we have to do is download it or play it on Alexa or Google. But I like to use the CD player.

I entered the store and was immediately greeted by a kind woman. "Good morning ma'am. Do call us if you need help with anything." I smiled and nodded. My eyes widened as I took in the surroundings. This was a new store because it wasn't open the last time I was here.

There were aisles of everything that a musician would want. It was every musician's wet dream. The interiors were stunning. The entire shop was painted with a soft blue color. There were musical notes, guitars, and various other instrument plaques that hung from the rooftop. Making it easier to search for whatever one was looking for.

I chuckled when I saw a wall that was painted with an animated picture of kids dancing and musical notes surrounding them. I found the flute section where a picture of Lord Krishna playing the flute adorned the wall. I sighed contently and stood there for a few more seconds. It was truly a beautiful picture.

Whoever designed this store has outdone themselves. A soft tune played. I walked to the next aisle, I squealed lightly when I looked around the racks. There were different CD's of different music genres. It was amazing.

I chuckled as I checked out the classical session. Since I was pursuing dance I didn't want to stick to just one dance form. I wanted to explore all the types. As a kid, I learned Bharatnatyam but as the years went by I was interested in exploring the other dance forms too. My parents always stood by me and encouraged me. My Mom herself a dancer was always proud. The one thing that we always did together was dance.

I grabbed a few CDs that had Carnatic music while another one played Hindustani music. There were a few '90s and early 2000s song CDs with one of my favorite songs. I always find solace in them.
