Hiccup x OC

Third Person P.O.V.

"What do you say, Rune?" Atalie asks her dragon companion. The yellowed-eyed Night Fury grunts then turns to fly towards Dragon's Edge. It has been a while since she and Hiccup last spoke to each other ever since Dagur was released and the discovery of the Dragon Eye. Atalie has been traveling with Rune, a female Night Fury, for the past few months and has been wanting to visit her friends. Especially Hiccup.

Once Dragon's Edge was in sight, the long-haired Viking directs Rune to the stables. Where a young auburn-haired man and his green-eyed Night Fury wait. Rune lands softly and Atalie hops off her as she goes to hug Hiccup. There two embrace for a moment before they pull away, "Hey, Hiccup. It's been a while." Atalie says. Hiccup gives her a smile, "Yeah, It has. Hey, we have some food ready and the others in the clubhouse." He says. Atalie gives him a smile and the two walk together as the Night Furies follow.

Once they made it to the clubhouse, the rest of the Dragon Riders greet Atalie. The enjoy their meal and Atalie catches up with the others. She rolled her eyes at Snotlout's flirting then laugh as Astrid nudges him in the ribs. Hard. Atalie looks over to see Rune playing with Toothless and Stormfly, laughing quietly as she sees Toothless gets tackled by the two. She feels a tap on her shoulder then looks to meet Hiccup's green eyes with her hazel ones. "You know, you can stay as long as you need." He says. "Really? I don't want to impose or anything." Atalie says. "Oh, don't worry. Having you here will be nice. And if you want, having two Night Furies to combat against Dagur would be very beneficial." Fishlegs states. Atalie smiles at him, "Thanks. I don't mind fighting against that jerk." She says. After talking for a little longer, Atalie would be staying with Astrid for her stay on the Edge.

After getting settled in, Atalie was currently sitting on a cliff. Rune was lying down behind her as the two watch the sunset. "I thought I find you her." Atalie looks to find Hiccup sitting next to her on her left. Rune gets up as she goes to play with Toothless. Hiccup and Atalie sit in a peaceful silence as they watch the sunset together. Atalie glances at Hiccup blushes a little as the sun's light gives  him a soft glow. Hiccup feels her gaze and looks over at her. Atalie's blush darkens and she looks away from him. Hiccup sees her blush and blushes a little himself.

Rune and Toothless continue to play as Hiccup slowly moves his hand towards Atalie's. Once he touches her hand, Atalie flinches a little from the contact but then moves her hand towards his. They slowly intertwine their hands as they still have soft blushes on their faces. "You... you know, i-if you want, a-a-and you can say no, but maybe you c-could stay on the Edge with me-Us! I-If y-you want." Hiccup stutters, gently rubbing Atalie's knuckles with his thumb. Atalie looks at him with soft smile, "I wouldn't mind." She says. Hiccup looks at her and smiles at her answer. The two move to be closer together then go back to looking off into the horizon. The sun has long set and Atalie rests her head on Hiccup's shoulder. Hiccup lays his head on hers as they enjoy the warmth from each other.

Rune and Toothless cuddle together as they sleep, having exhausted themselves from playing earlier. Looks like this had been a perfect day.
