Chapter 6: Hospital Stay: Part 2

With Loyd gone for the night, it was time for a shower. Iza called a nurse asking about the IV line and what to do with it while she showered. The nurse explained that this was her last bag for the night, and they could disconnect the line from her hand. The nurse delicately wrapped her hand in waterproofing and gave her a thumbs up. The kind nurse reminded Iza of where she could find the essentials and if she needed anything more, she could order it with a press to the intercom button within the bathroom. They could place what she needed in a drop box that acted like a mailbox. The box was located within the tall cabinet on the left side of the sink.

Thanking her for her help, Iza collected clothes from the chest in her size and went to the bathroom to figure out what the nurse was talking about. Placing her clothes on the right side of the sink, Iza opens the tall cabinet and finds a metal latched box at eye level, she opens the box and sees that the far end has hinges that would allow someone to open it from the other side.

Exclaiming how neat that was, she closed the latch box and grabbed towels below it. Iza turns on the water, feeling the temperature heat on her fingers. Turning back, she undresses just as the room starts to steam. Stepping into the shower she begins to push the different buttons to see what they do. With a push to the top button, it starts the handheld showerhead, switching it back off she goes to try the set of five buttons below it. Starting from the left pushing the buttons one at a time begins the topmost set of body jets that aim for the upper back, clicking the rest quickly after she soon has body jets lining her back and legs.

Lining her back to the body jets, Iza lets out a sigh of pleasure, she could use these at home when work got stressful. Beginning to lose track of time, she switched off the body jets and began to clean her hair and body.

The room was full of steam as she turned the shower knob off. Small drips of water hit the ground as she wrapped herself in a towel and took one to her hair. Wrapping her hair, she walked over to wipe the mirror of dew. As she was wiping a small blue button in the bottom corner caught her eye, curious as to its purpose she pressed it, and the mirror instantly began to defog on its own.

Being able to see herself, she dropped the towels to the floor and took in her naked self. Iza gently traced her stomach, she was still surprised a child was growing within her. She pushed out her stomach all the way and puffed out her cheeks, laughing to herself, was she going to end up looking like that?

She plugs the hair dryer in and dries her hair. She looks once more in the cabinets and finds a scent-free lotion. She applies it to her skin making sure she puts an extra thick layer to her stomach, it was probably good to get into the habit of doing so, for when her stomach grew it was going to be vital for her skin to get enough moisture.

She changed into pajamas and climbed into bed, today was a long day. After touching her head on the pillow, she was asleep.

A soft knock on the door wakes Iza. Rubbing her eyes clean, she tells whoever is on the other side to come in with a groggy morning voice. Loyd opens the door to her room and approaches the bed, he sits on the edge of the bed waiting for her to wake up more.

"How did you sleep?"

"Mm good, and the shower here is great too! Have you tried it yet!"

With a laugh "Yes, I wanted to make sure that the bathrooms also contributed to people's recovery when they were here."

A small, confused look was on Iza's face, concerned Loyd asked what was on her mind.

"Why do you keep saying I did this, or I did that? It makes you sound like you own this place too!"

With a guilty look on his face, Loyd stretches his hand to the back of his head and gives a scratch to it.

"Well because I do."
