Two weeks later
Kara woke up groggily as she heard a distant sound and moaned. Lois slowly woke up as she turned to face Kara. Kara got up and slipped on some clothes before she grabbed her smart watch and earpods from her dresser. Lois watched her as she pulled the covers up to cover herself up from suddenly being cold.
Lois was concerned as she asked, "What is it? Is it another bank robbery?"
Kara turned to face Lois before she nodded and replied, "Yes, and it is the fourth bank robbery in the last two weeks in Metropolis."
Lois was concerned as she said, "Maybe you should let the Metropolis Police Department handle this one and come back to bed."
Kara frowned as she replied, "They are already on scene and trying to handle it. But the robbers have hostages and threatening to execute the hostages unless their demands are met."
Lois was sunned as she said, "Well, I guess this is a job for Supergirl then. I know that I don't have to say this, but please be safe, Smallville. I will let your parents know what is going on." Lois laughed before she continued. "Like always, remember to give me an exclusive when you get back."
Kara smiled as she leaned down and kissed Lois's lips before she replied, "I know and thank you." Kara opened her window before she continued. "I will be back soon, Lois."
Kara jumped out her window and floated as she whispered into her smart watch and earpods. She flew towards Metropolis as her costume covered her body and face. Lois got up and closed the window before getting dressed. She headed downstairs and found Jonathn and Martha Kent in the kitchen getting ready to make breakfast. Lois told them what was going on.
First National Bank, Metropolis
A man held out his hand. "Hello Detective Lewis. I am Federal Agent Martin, and this is my partner, Federal Agent Smith." Detective Lewis shook hands before F.A. Martin continued. "How many hostages and perps are we looking at?" F.A. Martin was direct as she said.
Det. Lewis cleared her throat. "We are looking at 15 perps and 30 hostages." Det. Lewis replied as she turned to face the bank.
F.A. Smith cleared his throat. "Any demands, Detective?" F.A. Smith asked directly.
Det. Lewis frowned. "You know the usual." She looked at him before she continued. "Money, helicopters, and a free ride to a nonextradition country of their choosing." Det. Lewis replied sternly.
F.A. Martin and F.A. Smith looked at each other. "How much time do we have until they start executing hostages?" F.A. Smith was concerned as she asked.
Det. Lewis looked solemn. "They gave us 30 minutes to meet their demands. That was 28 minutes ago." Det. Lewis looked back at the bank before she continued. "We need a miracle to save those people." Det. Lewis was solemn as she replied.
Suddenly, they said, "What the- "as they heard a loud boom as they saw a black blur fly across the roof of the bank.
Inside First National Bank
"-the hell was that?" a man was confused as he asked.
"I don't know boss. What should we do?" another man was scared as he replied.
The first man grabbed the other man angrily. "We stick to the plan, and we execute their plan as directed." He tapped his ear com before he continued. "Frosty 6 to all teams. Report your status." Frosty 6 was angry as he replied.
All of the team leaders reported their status. When it got to the team on the roof, their was no response.
Frosty 6 grunted angrily as he tapped his ear com. "Frosty 6 to eyes in the sky, what is your status?" Frosty 6 was angry and concerned as he asked.
