Chapter 2-8: Hell on Earth Part 1

An intense stare down continued as Kara considered her next move. The only think that she could think of was that she needed to protect Lois at all costs. She did not want to blow her cover with so many people around, but she knew that she would have to if these two individuals posed a threat to Lois or anyone else. Kara's muscles began to tense as she prepared to strike. Before she could, Kara froze when Lois grabbed her arm. Kara looked at her surprised.

Lois continued to stare out the two strangers as she said, "I don't think that they mean us any harm, Kara. If they did, they wouldn't have waited until we were away from the others. Let's give them a chance to tell us what they want before we make our next move."

Kara nodded as she relaxed while staying high alert. The red-haired woman lowered her hands as she smiled.

"Thank you, Lois Lane. We mean you no harm. I am Koriand'r, an exiled princess from Tamara. I now go by the name Starfire. This is...." Starfire gestured towards her companion as she continued. "This is Raven. We are members of The Titans." Starfire said cautiously.

Kara glared at them as she said, "Now that we know who you are. What do you want with us?"

"We come to protect you both and also let you know that you are in great danger." Starfire said calmly.

Kara was taken aback as she asked, "In danger from what?"

"Th-this is not a good time for a chit chat. They move ever closer to capture her." Raven said cautiously.

Before anyone could say anything, a low growl could be heard from the shadows behind Kara and Lois.

"Starfire these is one over there!" Raven exclaimed as she pointed towards the shadows where the growl came from.

Starfire's eyes glowed green as her hands also glowed green before an energy blast shot from her hands towards the shadow. Something screamed before the area became silent once more.

Kara went into a defensive stance as she excitedly asked, "What the hell was that? Tell us what the hell is going on."

"Raven is right. We need to get you both back to Titan Tower before we answer any further questions." Starfire said quickly.

Raven turned as her and raised her hands as they glowed dark purple. She said a few words before a dark purple portal appeared in front of her. Raven and Starfire moved towards the portal, while Kara and Lois hesitated.

Starfire looked back at them. "I understand your concern, but this is the quickest and safest way to get there without any more surprises along the way." Starfire said urgently.

Kara looked at Lois, who nodded after a moment. Starfire walked through the portal. Shae was followed by Lois, Kara, and finally Raven. As they stepped through the other side of the portal, they could hear voices speaking loudly. After Raven appeared, the portal closed and disappeared. Starfire turned to face them as Raven headed towards the voices.

Starfire smiled. "Welcome to Titan Tower." Starfire said warmly.

Two individuals walked in as they talked. One was a woman who had long blonde hair and the other was a man who had green skin and hair. They paused when they saw two unfamiliar individuals with Starfire.

"Welcome back, Starfire. Who are they?" The green man was curious as he said.

"Thank you, Beast man. This is Kara Kent and Lois Lane." Starfire said calmly.

"Hi. I am Beast man, and this is Terra." Beast man said friendly.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you." Terra looked at Starfire before she continued. "Starfire, what are they doing here?" Terra calmly said.
