Chapter 20

Rose’s POV

I got home about ten minutes after I left Dani at the mall. I got all the stuff we bought and took it up to our apartment.

 I had a lot of fun, though I still can’t believe my best friend likes my brother. I really hope she picks Jax because they deserve each other, but I can’t pick for her.

After I got everything put where they needed to go I went and set on the couch. I started to watch TV. After a bout twenty minutes my stomach started to growl.

“Where the hell is she I want my tacos.” I said out loud.

After a few my phone started going off. I looked at the number and I didn’t recognize it, so I picked it up.

“Hello.”

“Yes is this Ms. Ford?”  A man asked

“Um yeah.” 

“I was calling to ask if you know a Danielle Malone.”

“Yes I know a Danielle Malone, why?” I asked confused

“Well we were trying to get in touch with her parents but they would not answer, and this was an emergency contact she had.”

“Yeah they are out of the country, and yeah I am the emergency contact.”

“Okay well we are just calling to let you know she was in an accident out on old NC.”

“What is she okay?” I asked worried

“I can’t say right now ma’am but I can tell you that it was pretty bad and she is on the way to the emergency room. She was driving when a drunk driver pulled over to her lane and hit her head on.”

“What ER did she go to?” I asked as a tear rolled down my check

“She was rushed to UNC. You can head over there now but I ask you to get someone to drive you.”

“My brother can, and thanks you for calling.”

“Your welcome and if you need anything call.”

“I will bye.” I said hanging up

I set the phone down and started to cry, after a few I got my keys, phone, and bag and headed down stairs to the guys. When I got there I was still crying my eyes out. I walked up and knocked on the door, Saxon answered

“Rose, Rose what’s wrong?” he asked shaking me

“I…..she……car…..drunk…..ER.” I tried saying but that’s what came out throw the tears.

“Do what?” he asked so I tried again

“She…….drunk……hit…….boom……UNC.” I tried again but it didn’t work

“Here come in, set down, and take a deep breath then try again.” Saxon said pulling me to the living room

Once we were in there I set down and he set beside me. He rubbed my back trying to get me to calm down. After a few deep breaths I started talking

“Okay….but first where is Ryan and Jax?” I asked because I had not seen them yet

“Ryan is gone to the store he should be back any minute and Jax is taking a shower. Now what is wrong?” he had worry in his voice

“I just got a call from the police and he told me that Dani was rushed to the ER.” I said with tears running down my face.

“What? Do you know if she is okay?”
