As they returned to the hotel, Johnny whispered "The surprises won't stop for a while doll.." before Kate had time to ask him what he meant she spotted her friends, Jessie, Carl and Lucie in the lobby. She hugged them all greeting them warmly. "What are you doing here?" She asked beaming. "Well we were invited..." Jessie said nudging her head towards Johnny who held his hands up. "Maybe we should continue this where we won't get overheard." He said guiding everyone into a nearby elevator.

A while later, Jessie, Carl and Lucie were sat in the living room of the presidential suite alongside Stephen, Gina and Christi. "I can't believe you've all flown in for this." Kate said blushing. "We wouldn't miss it. The others are just sorry there wasn't time to sort things for them to come." Christi added. "Nonsense. It's crazy to expect anyone to drop everything." Kate replied. "So now what?" She asked looking at Johnny. "Well tomorrow is a fairly full on day as you can imagine.. but you once told me, you wanted to show Belle the tree at the Rockefeller right?" Kate nodded "We can't go there it will be so busy. You'll be mobbed." "Not with a little help I won't be.." Kate's eyebrows furrowed as he ran into the bedroom and returned with a hat, large snood, and darker glasses than usual. "So let's go take our little munchkin to see the tree.." he said sitting down beside his future wife. "And we've got ice skating booked tonight!!" Jack added. "But..." "I know I know, you'll say what about Belle." Jessie added. "Well... I won't be skating." "You won't?" Kate said skeptically. "No.. you see it's frowned upon during pregnancy to ice skate." "What??" Kate said shocked. "You're actually pregnant??" Jessie nodded and the entire room erupted in congratulations and merriment. "So I'll sit with Belle, keep her warm and occupied. You go skate with the big kids. I know how much you loved it." Kate hugged her best friend once more.

A few hours later, Lucie handed out glasses of champagne that Johnny had ordered to the suite whilst everyone was mingling. "So we've got three fashion houses that have agreed to see you first thing tomorrow if you wanted a designer gown Kate?" Christi added. "Or Samantha has agreed to have a few things bought up for you to choose from. I think Johnny wants to make this special for you, and is hoping you'll want to wear a wedding dress. I know he's chosen a very dapper Dior tux." Kate smiled. She had never wanted an extravagant wedding, and with no family around her, a simple city hall ceremony made sense but she didn't see no reason to not wear a gown, so nodded in agreement. "Samantha knows me well, I'm sure whatever she's chosen will be wonderful." Christi smiled and tapped the knee of her soon to be sister in law. "Try to enjoy it, him and the children have worked very hard to make this happen." Kate smiled and couldn't help but well up. "I can't believe they are going to all this effort to make me and Belle officially part of their family." "Well they love you dearly, we all do." The elder woman added.

Whilst everyone went back to their respective suites to get ready for the evening, Lily asked for a word with Kate. The teen led her soon to be step mother into her room and opened the wardrobe. "Do you like this dress for Belle?" Lily asked nervously. It was beyond cute, it was festive green with a large satin sash bow, and was paired with white tights. "It's gorgeous, where did you get it?" "We went shopping whilst you were at work the other day... and we thought maybe I would look like a nutcracker fairy in that kind of dress but maybe this green skirt?" She held up a very elegant pleated satin green skirt that exactly matched the dress alongside a Pearl coloured blouse. "Only if you like, of course I'll wear whatever you want me to wear it's your day." Lily said nervously. "Darling it's perfect, and so festive. You'll look beautiful I'm sure. Thank you for organising all of this." "Dad did most of it, I just helped where I could." Kate kissed Lily's head before admiring the outfits once more. "They seriously are perfect." Lily smiled proudly before beginning to get ready herself.

Johnny had donned his disguise, and although he knew he could have put more of an effort in with it, he didn't want to, he wanted to be himself this evening, and certainly this weekend when marrying the love of his life. He scooped Belle up and kissed her cheek before kissing his wife to be. "I'll meet you there ok? That way we can put off any scent people have that we are in the city. The hotel have signed strict paperwork so I don't expect them to leak a thing." Kate nodded as Johnny rushed off with a wrapped up Sean slowly trailing behind him to avoid attention.

Meanwhile, Kate, Lily, Jack, Belle, Stephen, Gina, Christi, Jessie, Carl and Lucie all took a short walk to the Rockefeller centre. Kate lingered to the back with Belle, and hoped Johnny was already there. She didn't want him to miss Belle's reaction to the tree and all of the lights. Stephen hovered beside her. "Are you ok?" "Yes sorry.. just her three year old legs are not as quick as everyone else." "No I meant, are you really ok? With everything?" Stephen asked picking Belle up and putting her on his hip. The latter sloppily kissing his cheek making him smirk. "I'm really ok Stephen, thank you, all of this is just wonderful. I can't believe it," Stephen smiled, "All G and I have ever wanted is for him to be happy again, and I'm so glad he is. Thanks to you, thanks to the kids, and especially this little one. God he's smitten." Kate smiled "I love him with all my being. He's made me so happy." Stephen nodded and began to say something when they heard "Oi... give me back my girl." In an odd accent. Kate's eyebrows raised as Johnny in his disguise approached. "Which one?" His pal replied slowly letting Belle down onto the floor and passing her hand to her mother. It was a rather busy area after all. "I'll go make sure everyone is set to skate." Stephen said as Kate smiled at Johnny. "Right munchkin... ready to see the big tree?" Belle went coy and lent into her mother before noticing a familiar twinkle in the strange man's eye. Within a second she had launched herself at him "Dada!!!" She squealed. "Well there's no hiding from this one is there?" Johnny said scooping her up and taking his wife to be's hand as they rounded the corner and the view of the tree revealed itself to the three of them.
