I sat back down and started talking to him. He tried to sit up a little but he didn't have an enough strength to. He laid slumped over and just smile and stared at me, i did same in return. He eventually broke the silence.
"What happen.?"-Brent
"You was trucked at the 40 yard line."-me
"Oh my. Wheres everyone at or is it just you that cares.?"-Brent
"Your mom and dad went to get food, they asked if i wanted to come and i said id rather stay here with you. Jessica at home."-me
"Oh. Well, what doctors say."-Brent
"You have a small concussion, and a sprung rib."-me
"How long will it take to recover?"-Brent
"Doctor said up to about a month."-me
"What about school and home.?"-Brent
"School idk but home whenever you want to."-me
"I want to go home!"-Brent
"Have to wait till you mom comes back."-me
"Oh my!. Mom hurry up"-Brent
As we laid beside each other and talked, Jessica came in the room.
"Oh my your awake! How long was he out after i left."-Jessica
"He just woke up almost an hour ago."-me
"What happen to mom and dad?"-Jessica
"They went to get food almost two hours ago."-me
"Yeah."-Brent
"How you feel?"-Jessica
"Okay. My arm hurts alittle."-Brent
"What about your head?"-Jessica
"It doesn't hurt to bad. Ive had wort happen to my head."-Brent
"Well this is the third concussion between 3 years."-Jessica
"Oh wow. 3 concussions. Thats kinda a lot huh?"-me
"One more and it could be surious."-Jessica
Thirty minutes has passed and the food finally came. I hopped off the bed so i could eat. I had a hot dog and a coke. Brent asked if he could start getting ready to come home.
"Can we leave this place?"-Brent
"Yeah, if you wont to."-Brent's mom
"Okay lets go."-Brent
We all got our stuff ready to leave and the doctor registered him out. We walked up to van and got Brent in. I sat by him and Jessica drive her car. We stopped at my house so i could change clothes and get a few changes of clothes and money. I walked in the house and there laid my dad on the couch asleep with beer by his head.
