Chapter 9: Getting The Gang Togethr

My apologies the chapter is so short, I have a lot going on IRL.

A couple of days passed and nothing happened, she knew that Light was doing his usual tactics to avoid getting suspected even though it did the opposite in truth.

Then one particular day, Tsuki woke up feeling a tad bit more mischievous than usual, and by the time she had finished getting ready for the day, she was itching to cause some trouble.

Unfortunately, by the time she went down to the kitchen, there was no one home.

"Well, that changes my plans a bit," Tsuki muttered to herself, frowning." Perhaps I can set up a prank before everyone gets home?"

She paused, her phone ringing in her pocket and she took it out with confusion, she didn't really have friends she hung out with so who was calling her? Answering the phone she was immediately greeted by Beyond's voice, how he had gotten the number was likely illegal, but she wasn't going to comment.

"Hello, princess," Beyond drawled through the phone and Tsuki felt her annoyance immediately skyrocket.

"What do you want, Chiteki?" Tsuki responded with an eye roll.

Chiteki was the Japanese word for intelligent, a good alias for the man if she was being honest with herself.

It was clear immediately that Beyond knew he was being monitored.

"I got a cheap house a few blocks from your own, mind coming over when you're able?" Beyond asked as he listed the address and Tsuki sighed, just turning to stare at the ceiling wondering why life had forsaken her.

"Yeah, I can be there in a few minutes, just let me put on my jacket and shoes," Tsuki said before immediately hanging up, glaring at the phone for interrupting her pranking plans.

It didn't take long to put everything on and head out of the door, she began walking down the street, keeping an eye out for any vehicle that may be trying to follow her. She wouldn't put it past L to try and keep an eye on her and Light even when they weren't at the house.

Once she arrived at the house in question she realized it was rather run down, probably why it was so cheap in the first place.

Walking up to the front door, she gave a knock, and moments later Beyond opened it. However, the man looked almost completely unrecognizable. His hair which had been once black was now an auburn color, his skin hadn't changed much but there were a couple of freckles that hadn't been there before.

Finally, his eyes were greenish-blue, indicating he was wearing contacts.

"So, what's up?" Tsuki questioned getting straight to business as she walked into the house, Beyonod closed the door behind him and then turned to him with a smirk." By the way, can I say you look quite nice in that disguise?"

The house was shockingly clean, whether it was something Beyond enjoyed doing or if it was for appearances, she didn't know.

"I need to know the game plan." Beyond stated with a huff." I also want to know why I can't see your lifespan."

Tsuki turned to the man, frowning slightly as she wondered if what she was doing was the right decision.

"Well, to answer those questions, I am going to need to tell you a lot more about me," Tsuki said eventually, her heart racing with a feeling not too dissimilar to adrenaline.

Beyond sat on the couch, crossing his legs.

"Then you better get started, princess," Beyond drawled, his eyes flashing with hidden danger.

Time Skip

The conversation didn't take as long as Tsuki feared, but by the time she had finished explaining everything there was a knock at the door. She glanced at Beyond but the man just shook his head slowly, indicating he wasn't expecting anyone.

She held her hand up, silently telling the man to stay out of sight before he walked to the front door once more.

Peaking through the eye hole, however, showed her a man she had been waiting for.

Sighing in relief she opened the door and gave Jack Harkness a smile, the man looked surprised that she had opened up so fast. To be fair, Tsuki was rather keen to see her second favorite Doctor Who character and nobody could blame her for that.

"Hello, Jack," Tsuki spoke and the man's eyes narrowed.

"You're Tenshi, right?" Jack checked and Tsuki nodded, motioning for him to enter, leading him into the living room where Beyond was still waiting.

The criminal didn't look too happy with the sight of Jack, however.

"The fuck is he doing here?" Beyond growled, glaring at Jack who just looked completely unconcerned, after all, he was immortal.

Tsuki and Jack ignored him.

"So, anyone going to explain the situation in detail?" Jack asked, earning a groan from both Tsuki and Beyond, both of them realizing they had just had that conversation and would need to once more.

"Basically, I'm from another universe where you are all fictional and I woke up here as a Time Lord and with a special notebook that can bring people back from the dead." Tsuki stated deadpanned." Oh, and I am actively fighting against Kira. Any questions?"

Jack stared at her in disbelief.

"So many, but right now let's focus on the important details." Jack said with a frown." Do you know who Kira is?"

Tsuki hesitated before giving a short nod.

"I do, but it is imperative that some events still unfold or we won't get enough evidence that my brother is Kira," Tsuki said with a sigh.

"You're brother is Kira?!" Beyond exclaimed, his entire form tensing with anger and a small amount of fear." Are you insane, we might die if we are around you too much!"

Tsuki rolled her eyes.

"With Light's constant school work on top of writing names in the Death Note, if he had enough time to bother knowing where I go, I'd be impressed," Tsuki stated simply, earning a snort from Jack who just looked rather amused by the situation.

"Yeah, forgive me if that isn't very reassuring," Beyond grumbled under his breath, but his form relaxed slightly.

She had a feeling he wouldn't be comfortable for a while.

"Alright, let's talk about my plan and then you two can help me prank my brother and L!" Tsuki exclaimed with a grin, her hands clapping together.
