Tsuki groaned as she opened her eyes, glaring at the sunlight that filtered through the window and revealed daylight had arrived. With a reluctant sigh, she sat up and gave a small stretch and yawn.
Getting out of bed, she looked through her outfits, frowning slightly as she decided what she wanted to wear. Not school clothes, that was for sure. It took a moment but eventually, she decided on a yellow and black outfit, smiling as she imagined herself as a bumblebee.
Once she was fully changed, she made her way to her desk, remembering Light's room had a similar layout to this one. Perhaps she could take her brother's notebook? She did know how he looked out for people entering his room, so it wouldn't be that hard to steal the notebook without him finding out who did it.
But that wouldn't be smart, she was immune to the Death Note, but not death in general, and if he found out, he could use the Death Note to make the person afflicted kill her instead.
Frowning she pulled out a normal notebook from her desk, picking up a pen and thinking. It would be smart to make a plan, even record her findings in the notebook, that way if she ever was killed she might be able to find a way to give the notebook to L. With the proof of Light's actions within, it might be enough to help him win against her brother.
With a deep breath, she wrote down the things she wanted to accomplish, it was possible, however, that some might not be reachable.
- Build a reputation ( ☐ )
- Save Lind L. Taylor from Kira (☐)
- Join the investigation (☐)
- Save Ukita (☐)
- Convince Misa to give up the Death Note (☐)
- Save L (☐)
- Free BB (☐)
To be honest, she might be able to prevent the entire workforce from being able to die due to the notebook, but whether or not that would change things further down the line was uncertain.
Either way, it was smart to only write L's and Utika's names down, those two were the ones that were truly at risk. It would also provide Ukita protection if she couldn't get the man to wear a mask, which was likely depending on whether she managed to get into the investigation or not.
She checked those two off before pulling her Life Note out and writing their names.
L Lawliet
Hirokazu Ukita
Once written down, she paused, wondering if she should experiment with the Life Note like Light had done with the Death Note.
It would definitely help her get the reputation she needed, she hadn't been writing too many names in her notebook so far. Could she control a person after they got revived, perhaps control the method by which they were revived?
Until the declaration of war by L during the Lind L. Taylor incident, she wouldn't be able to do much besides prevent Beyond's death, and that wasn't guaranteed. Figuring out the Life Note seemed like the best course of action, Beyond didn't die until a few months after Light gained the notebook, so she should focus on destroying the records of his past actions, to prevent Light from finding him out.
Tsuki knew it was too risky to actually make Beyond immune to the Death Note, if the man was to be controlled, she'd need a backup plan if he went off the rails.
However, the fact that she could also see the name and cause of death of whoever she looked at might be able to help her find common ground between her and Beyond. Despite not knowing the lifespans of a person, it didn't change the similarities.
