The next day, Tsuki didn't waste any time.
She set her alarm for an hour before dawn and began writing down names of the people she could see who had died, grateful for this version of herself deciding to become a doctor. It was a good career choice and meant she had an excuse for searching up all of these hospitals, to be fair, it would have been rather awkward explaining it to her new parents if they had found out otherwise.
It took nearly two hours before she finally decided she had enough, placing the Life Note back into her bag. Just in time too, if the knock on the door was any indication.
"Come in!" Tsuki called as she pretended to be searching for something in the drawers.
The door opened, revealing Light, and immediately Tsuki was on edge. She might be a Time Lord now, but she doubted she could outsmart Light currently, not when she had only just arrived in this world.
She was not 'The Doctor'
"Good morning, Tsuki." Light greeted with his plastered-on smile." Do you want to study together tonight, I think I can spare some time."
"I'm sorry, Light, but I have a meeting with an online friend tonight that I already set up," Tsuki lied, giving her best apologetic look, pretending the person in front of her was Sayu and note Light.
It appeared to work and the teen sighed, looking a bit disappointed but he just said it was fine and turned to leave.

Once the school was over, a problem came to Tsuki's mind, how was she supposed to hide the fact she was an alien? Had this world's version of her been a Time Lord or had that changed when she arrived? She should ask her parents when the last time she'd gone to the doctor or at least ask Sayu.
Tsuki arrived at the house at the same time as Light, blinking in surprise.
"Hey Tsuki, how was your day?" Light asked and Tsuki decided to play nice, as far as anyone knew, she was just an oblivious girl.
"It was great, Light!" Tsuki exclaimed, giving her brother a beaming smile." What about your day, did anything interesting happen, or was it fairly boring?"
Light chuckled.
"It was pretty boring, I knew most of everything they taught." Light admitted with a wince." I really wish I didn't have to go to this school just to get into the next wanted to go to, but sadly that isn't the case."
Even Tsuki felt sympathy for the other teen, no one deserved school, not even mass-murdering psychopaths.
Entering the house, Tsuki let out a yelp as both Light and her were ambushed by their excited mom.
"What a nice surprise!" Mom exclaimed cheerfully." I wasn't expecting you back so early."
Tsuki snorted, that was bullshit, especially given how the woman appeared out of nowhere as soon as both of them had entered the house. It was clear by Light's amused expression, her brother knew that as well.
"You want us to show you the results, don't you?" Tsuki teased and the woman smiled sheepishly, giving a small nod.
"Sorry, sweetie, it's just not every day that your children end up graduating," Mom admitted and Tsuki just shook her head in amusement.
"It's no problem," Tsuki said reaching into her bag at the same time as Light, both of them sharing a look before handing their results in unison." Here you go!"
Mom reached out and took both results, looking them over carefully before a beaming smile spread across her face.
"Goodness, Tsuki, Light, number one in your respective schools once more!" Mom exclaimed with pride." These are the highest scores you've ever had. I'm proud of you two."
