Waking up at seven, Tsuki remembered with a start that she had a meeting with Watari later that day.
This meeting would determine whether or not she would be able to work with L in order to take down Kira. That wasn't even considering the implications of joining L's crusade to defeat Kira, if the man became suspicious of her enough, he could easily find out she wasn't human.
With a sigh, she walked over to her computer and sat down at her desk with a small frown.
Since she'd arrived in this world, she'd been postponing it, but now she really needed to know if the Doctor existed in this world or if she was the only one of her kind in this universe. It wasn't going to be easy though, the Doctor didn't visit outside of Europe very often, so finding any evidence of him in Japan would be nearly impossible.
Biting her lip, Tsuki tentatively typed in organizations in Europe, perhaps Torchwood or some other organization would have a public face she could find. Even if the actual activities of the organization didn't reveal itself, she might be able to find out the public version.
Lo and behold, Torchwood was written as a special sector of the government that handed meteor crashes and dangerous materials.
So if Torchwood existed, so did the Doctor, right?
Torchwood's existence wouldn't have been possible without the Doctor's involvement, it was intricately connected to the Time Lord.
Tsuki continued her research, eventually deciding to hack into the Torchwood servers, thankfully code was easy to decipher since becoming a Time Lord, almost as if it was ingrained into the DNA.
It didn't take long for someone to begin countering her attacks, but she wasn't here to damage anything, only to leave a message in hopes it would bring the big guns in. There was no guarantee since Torchwood's jurisdiction didn't reach into Japan, but if anyone could find a way to bypass that it would be Jack Harkness or the Doctor, whichever chose to answer the call.
She created a coded message with her burner phone's number on it before continuing to look around the servers a bit longer before leaving.
Now it was only a matter of time before someone would call the number to track it, she'd have to be careful to only stay on the line until they pinpointed the country, but not enough for the actual location.
As she leaned back, she frowned, wondering if she would have to go on the run once this whole Kira fiasco was over.
Technically, this had been only the second time she had broken a law, but still, it would be enough to go to jail for quite some time if anyone found out about her involvement. It was a dangerous game, at least L didn't know of her crimes quite yet, otherwise, things would have gotten a lot harder.
Her burner phone rang, the sound sending an uneasy chill up her spine.
Quickly, she grabbed her voice modifier before answering, her heart hammering in her chest as she prepared herself for what might happen.
"Hello," Tsuki said simply, the sound of breathing on the other end paused before a familiar voice spoke.
"Hi, are you by chance the one who sent that message to us?" Jack's voice spoke and Tsuki nearly squealed, one of her few fangirl moments since arriving in this world.
"Yes, I am," Tsuki confirmed as she typed something into her computer, checking to see if Torchwood had decided to try and hack her in response, so far, it seemed she was in the clear.
"Your message said you needed help." Jack commented sounding mildly concerned." My comrades are also wondering what we should call you."
"Call me...Tenshi," Tsuki replied before diverging the conversation back to the original question." I'm in Japan, lately, there has been a bit of a supernatural problem we've been dealing with. It's starting to get out of hand, with innocent people dying, I could use your help."
