Hello everyone!

I just want to say, this is the completely rewritten version of my other story by the same name, there are a few differences, including the point of view. The former version was in the first person, and this one will be in the third person, from Tsuki's perspective.

Considering the original story was written when I was just starting to write fanfiction, I thought it was high time for a rewrite.

Hope you enjoy!

Tsuki sighed, she was bored.

It also didn't help that the teacher had been droning on about some useless lesson on a war that happened nearly two centuries ago. Leaning back, Tsuki wondered when the bell would ring. It felt like it had been hours since the lesson had started and time seemed to move slower than usual.

Tsuki reached out for her eraser, contemplating whether it would be worth getting in trouble for throwing it at the girl in front of her. Thankfully the bell saved her from making that decision, and Tsuki scrambled to grab her bag before rushing out of the classroom before the teacher could tell her to stay behind for running.

Leaving the school, Tsuki sighed with relief that it was now the weekend, she could just relax and watch her favorite shows.

A soft smile spread across her face as she looked up and down the street, not noticing any cars coming before stepping out onto the street. However, just her luck a loud honking sounded and Tsuki froze, turning in time to see a pair of headlights before pain shot through her. Tsuki let out a cry as her body was thrown back like a ragdoll, the world going black for a few seconds.

As she became aware, she noted that several people were surrounding her, but they didn't seem to notice her shifting into a sitting position, a moment later and she realized why. Looking down, she gasped and tears prickled in her eyes, she was staring at her own body.

She was dead, honest to god dead.

"Hello, my child," A voice called out, the voice echoing like it was being spoken by several people.

Tsuki glanced up to see a man who appeared to be in his early fifties, the man was wearing a pure white business suit with a gold tie. A sad and sorrowful expression flickered across the man's face before smoothing out into seriousness.

"W-Who are you?" Tsuki asked, frowning as she looked around and realized an ambulance had arrived and confirmed she was dead." I'm dead, aren't I."

"To answer your first question, I go by many names but you likely know me as God." The man-no God revealed and Tsuki's eyes widened in shock, the confirmation that the entity actually existed making her feel like nothing but a speck in the grand scheme of things." As for your second question, yes, I am afraid you have died."

Tsuki's mind was whirling with a mixture of shock, confusion, and awe.

"Why are you here to see me?" Tsuki questioned, there was no way that God would approach her of all people unless something was up.

"I've come to offer you a choice." God murmured, his voice lowering to one of gentle care." I can either let you on to the afterlife and the peace it will entail, or I can send you to another world where you can make a true difference."

For a long moment, Tsuki hesitated, as much as she wanted to agree, was it a good idea? If she went to heaven now, she'd be with her friend who died a while back. She missed her friend quite a bit, but was it worth giving up the chance to explore a new world?
