Sweat was dripping down my forehead, my breathing pattern in a frenzy. Iris and I were sat on a plush sofa now, guards standing close by. Neither of us dared to move. I felt her hold my hand, making me realsise that she too was shaking. Looking up, our eyes met briefly, before the leaders voice startled us both. As he walked towards us, he loaded one of the huge guns, the clicking noise echoing around us.
He sighed."Hmm, where could he be?" He lowered the gun so that it was aimed at Iris.
I wasn't sure whether that was a rhetorical question or not.
"You three," he turned and pointed to some men,"go outside. If you see The Flash, make sure you get him here. But don't harm him, I want to speak with him."
They did as they were ordered, loading guns as walked off. Each time I heard the clicks, I flinched; all of those images of Barry being shot were enough to make me sick.
"You really think he is just going to storm in here?" Iris suddenly spoke.
My eyes widened. What was she doing?!
"Well yes, I should hope so. He seems to care about this one." His gun turned to me and I quickly looked to the floor. However I felt the cold metal touch my chin, lifting my head up again; the gun was at my throat.
"This is all a mistake! Bethan hasn't got anything to do with the Flash. Right, Bethan!?" Iris stressed.
I was too scared to say anything, the gun hadn't moved.
"Right!? Bethan, answer me!" She stressed. As the gun was moved away from me I let out a shaky breath. Her hand squeezed mine."Tell him it isn't true!"
"Please Miss West, do yourself a favour and stop. Use that brain of yours. Now I know that somewhere, deep down, you know Bethan is lying to you."
My face slowly turned towards her. She looked so confused.
"Bethan, I'm begging you to tell him that it isn't true. We have nothing to do with the Flash."
"N-n-no, we don't." I tried to make out the words but they were more mumbled. Iris did not look convinced.
Before this debate could carry on any further, a radio went off. One of the men listened closely as it was hard to figure out what was being said down the line. Once he had spoken back to them to confirm they had gotten the message, he repeated it to us.
"The Flash is on his way." He said.
The leader smiled."Oh good, maybe he can put this argument at rest, eh?" Clicking his fingers, four men waled towards us, a pair for both girls. Before we knew it, we were being stage away again."I'll see you soon girls. Be prepared for a grand entrance."

It was just Iris and me now, locked up in some small store cupboard. The shelves were empty and there was nothing in there; that probably meant that there was nothing to help us get out of here. As I sat hunched up in the corner with my head on my knees, Iris was pacing and it was starting to get on my nerves.
"Come on Bethan, there's got to be a way out of this." She said desperately.
I stayed silent.
"Please can you just cooperate? Our lives are at risk here!"
Again, I said nothing.
She groaned before grabbing my arms and forcing me onto my feet. Her hands were still tightly wrapped around them, shaking me as she spoke angrily.
"Why aren't you doing anything!? You've been in a situation like this before!"
"Yes I have! And let me tell you I do not want to relive those moments but here I am! I couldn't have just waited for the police to get here or something because I was worried about you, nbut right now, I'm regretting even coming in here." I shoved her off of me, trying to calm down.
Only a few seconds passed before she spoke again."What did he mean, about you and the Flash?"
"What?"
"He seemed very confident that you knew him well."
"For the love of god! I don't know him, I never have and he has only saved me a few times!" This lie was starting to come naturally to me.
"Fine whatever you say."
"Oh drop the attitude. If you hadn't been such a big mouth back there, we might have ended up somewhere other than this."
"I was trying to get answers."
"He had a gun! He could have shot one of us!"
"He wouldn't have, he needs both of us."
"He may have not killed us, but there could have been some sort of injury."
Before we could argue any further, the bolts on the door clicked. The door was opened, revealing the guards that took us here.
"It's showtime."
