Doormat

Once upon a time,
A shadow cast by yearning light
Tell you something in my mind.
Dance of heart and a delicate smile.

A symphony that never ends
Whispers echo and subtle glance.
A doormat of love woven
But not a thread of affection, but passion.

In this tale of want and desire,
I loved you once, and you fooled me twice.
It's not affection, but necessity.
Not gentle words, but desperate pleas.

The echoes of what could be
Our love surrenders in this bittersweet sea.
The essence of necessity
Will break our feelings and set us free.
