The Amorist

As the sun appears above the horizon
An amorist begins anew,
With quill in hand, his heart laid bare
He weaves his love into the air,

Writing words straight from the heart
A Never ending tale, no one will take apart,
In ink and grace to start
Only he can alleviate the emptiness of his heart.

In every rhyme, in every phrase
He finds new ways to sing him praise
Each word a hug, each verse a kiss
He pens his soul, a living dream

As the sun deep down the sea
Engraved his name, his face with glee
An amorist with passion's pen
Writing his love again, and again.
