Wooyoung

I stared in the mirror longer than I should've, but no matter how many times I changed, I didn't like how I looked.

I had put on makeup to try and look more presentable, but the clothes were annoying me to no end. Most of my clothes were more on the sexier side, but I couldn't do anything too formal because it was just a coffee date.

I opted for some of my distressed jeans and a shirt with the sleeves cut off, with a see through long sleeved shirt underneath.

I put my hair up in a half ponytail and decided that I'd leave it like that. If I kept playing with it, I'd be late which if I didn't leave now...I would be.

Shit-

I grabbed my keys and phone, running out of the door. I'd have to take my skateboard which shouldn't be too bad since it wasn't that far.

The closer I got to the café, the more my heart was pounding in my chest. This was so fucking weird for me, I had genuinely never been on a date before. I had no idea what to expect. What would we even talk about?

I was five minutes late when I made it there, only stopping outside because I saw an amazing looking bike sitting there. I didn't know much about them, but anytime I saw one I had to stop and appreciate it.

I swear to god if I was being catfished...

I went inside and looked around, trying to see if San was here yet. I spotted him out of the way in the corner of the café, too busy being lost in the view outside to notice I had arrived. Maybe he didn't even know what I looked like. I took that time to truly appreciate how handsome he was.

Mihi really just had him in her back pocket like that, huh?

I took a deep breath and made my way over, my skateboard under my arm. "San?" I said once I was close enough.

He looked up, then his eyes quickly raked up and down my body. "Wooyoung?" He then said, raising his gaze to meet mine.

I offered him a smile, nodding in confirmation. "Hi!"

I put my skateboard down to greet him.

He stood up, smiling in response.

Oh no....oh no he had dimples....oh shit....

Then I was being handed sunflowers by him. I blinked at it in surprise. "Are these...are these for me?" I asked hesitantly.

He nodded, "Yeah."

"I've never been given flowers." I said under my breath, taking it from him. "Thank you." I offered him a hug which he accepted.

I had to try and remember that this was the first date and I needed to slow down on my feelings. I had a habit of getting attached too quickly.

"I haven't ordered yet. Do you want me to get you something?" He then said.

"Um...just whatever you think is good. I'm not too picky." I said, sitting down in my seat, still memorized by the flowers. They were really pretty.
