A/N: Violence and homophobia warning
San
I waited for Wooyoung to get dressed so we could go to a party. Mingi, Yunho and Mihi were staying in like they normally did since they were all homebodies. Which was a bit surprising since they were all huge extroverts. They liked each other's company more than they wanted to party, so I checked the weed stash for them to make sure they had enough to smoke while we were gone.
Wooyoung opted to come over to the apartment to get ready so I didn't have to go pick up him and Seonghwa. While I was waiting though, Seonghwa said he got a ride to the party from Hongjoong so I didn't have to worry about picking him up. Ever since I introduced Seonghwa and Hongjoong, the four of us had been spending a lot of time together.
I didn't mind but that didn't mean I wasn't worried about the two of them being so close.
Wooyoung came out in baggy streetwear and I wrapped an arm around his shoulder. "Let's go."
We got to the party at a decent time, it wasn't that crowded when we arrived so it was easy to slip in and find Seonghwa and Hongjoong. Especially since I knew to look for him in the smokers den.
"You want me to set you up?" Hongjoong said as his way of greeting.
Seeing that he had ice in the neck of the bong, setting me up for a cold hit, I nodded. "Please do, kind sir."
He smiled and filled the bowl with grinded weed from his own supply then handed me the bong.
I didn't mind being seen as a stoner among the campus, because I wasn't that popular anyway. Sure, I had friends. But that was that. I stayed close with my friends and didn't care much for my imagine otherwise.
It wasn't like I was dumb. I had heard the rumors floating around campus, especially being friends with Seonghwa the "slut" and Hongjoong the "heartbreaker". Knowing that I also smoked weed and rode a motorcycle? That was all people needed to get an impression of me. Which didn't help my love life.
People judged too easily though. They liked judging my friends for doing the exact same things they did, but they were more open about it. It was college, most people liked to party and sleep around and have fun. So why did it matter if Seonghwa, Wooyoung and Hongjoong liked to do that too? Just because they didn't apologize for it, didn't mean that made them worse.
I didn't like seeing Seonghwa sleep around like he did because his type was dangerous. Not every guy was just your basic "bad boy". Some had serious red flags and I didn't like that he pursued those.
"You holding onto that or..." Hongjoong asked, asking for the bong back.
"Sorry." I said, not realizing how lost in thought I had got.
Wooyoung placed his hand on my thigh. "You okay?"
I pulled him closer to me out of pure habit. "Yeah. I'm okay. Just thinking."
He nodded, seeming more or less content with the answer.
I took a break with Wooyoung from the smoker's den to get some fresh air. There wasn't much talking involved but it wasn't exactly awkward, just quiet.
