Veronica pov
My phone rang, and I woke up scanning through the bed to find, my hand gripping it I picked up the call.

Where are you, I heard Daniels's voice.

At a friend's place.

Okay, can you get me baby diapers on your way, he pleaded.

Fine, I said engulfed with anger.

Thanks, he said and hung up.

Baby, baby, baby, that's all he thinks about, I shouted in anger. What about me, what am I to him? I hate that baby already, he's just like his mother always stealing all the attention, I need to kill him before Daniel forgets I even exist.

I wore my clothes ready to leave when Mark walked in.

Are you leaving already, I made breakfast he said.

To hell with his food, I can't wait to get home and finally get rid of the bloodsucker child.

I can't stay for breakfast, I said and was about to walk away when he held me back.

Did she just call me garbage, if I'm not being blackmailed to get close to her I don't know what I'll be doing with such a lady, she's not even my type.

Still in my thoughts when my phone rang, I looked who was the caller, that same unknown caller, I picked up.

In my sleep, I could feel the warmth of someone else body, I placed my hand on the body of the person sleeping beside me, it was a woman, I knew it, from what I touched she was naked. Since we did something together, but who is this lady, how did I even get here I don't even remember. I opened my eyes, I needed to see the face of the lady, but she faced the other way, I pulled myself up a little to get a glimpse of her face, and my head hurt I cried and fell back on the bed. I manage to sit up and scan my whole surroundings, This is my room, How did I get home, What do I remember last was getting drunk and passing out on my seat, how did I end up in my room and even bring a lady home.
