On autumn afternoons such as this, she buries
her eyes in books and her ears in acoustic music.
At her desk, she sits and peels a clementine.
The leaves swiftly fall from the branches of the
evergreen tree outside her slanted cottage window.
It is another yearly harvest in the small
provincial town in which she grew up.
A cool October breeze blows through the
weeping willow tree which, like the
evergreen tree, is preparing for a
temporary state of dormancy for the
cold and frost bitten winter months.
