By The Window Pane

She looked the window in silence,
for she seeks solitude with the view
across from her home.
She wonders, "Does he look out his window as well? If so, does he see me too?"
The sun will soon set over the town, and all she can do is sit by the window pane.. and stare out at the other end of the square alone; thinking
of him all the while.
Two questions occupy her every thought as the
sun continues to go down, "Is he looking out his window this very moment and thinking of me all the while? Or is he lost in his own
wayward thoughts?"
