y/n pov:
"she's cute" Joe pointed at a girl in the corner of the bar. "nope" I sighed. "I'm gay, I can't really give you the best advice on girls y/n" Joe gave up. "I give up, there's no more girls" I said putting my head on the counter of the bar. "what about her?" He said, I sat up and turned to look at who he was on about. A beautiful blonde girl, with shoulder length curled hair, gorgeous blue eyes, wearing an off the shoulder black top and dark blue jeans, walked in. "hot" I breathed out.

She was alone so she walked over to the counter of the bar, leaving a seat between us. Joe gave me a look, but I ignored him, and decided to wait a minute before I began talking to her, at least let her get a drink first. "hi what can I get you?" Joe asked the mysterious hot woman. "surprise me" she smiled. She has one of those smiles that look contagious, if she smiles I want to smile. Joe whipped a drink up for her, she took a sip and thanked him.

Joe gave me another look before going to help someone else. I wanted to talk to her but I needed something to say that didn't make me sound like a freak, but before I could someone tapped me on the shoulder. "hey you" A red headed girl called MacyI spoke to last night said to me. oh no. she was awful, so annoying, she thought I was in love with her when I sat beside her since there was no space anywhere else on the counter. "oh hi" I smiled nicely, wanting her to leave. "want to dance" she says and starts doing this weird side to side dance.

"i'm alright thanks" I said and tried to turn away. "you sureee" she said taking my hands and trying to pull me up onto the dance floor. "i'm sure" I told her. "well I might just sit with you instead" she smiled and went to sit beside me. "yay" I said sarcastically. "hey babe, why are you sat so far away?" The blonde woman said to me. I wasn't facing the Macy anymore and I gave the blondie a confused look but then I realised she was trying to save me from having to talk to Macy. "oh sorry babe" I said standing up and moving to the seat next to her.

Macy was still staring at me, when the mysterious woman put her hand around my waist, and pulled me closer to her. "i'll just go... somewhere else" Macy said walking off to bother someone else. "thank you so much" I said to the woman next to me "no problem, she kept hitting on me 2 weeks ago, she's rather annoying if you ask me" She said to me. "very, I'm y/n" I said smiling at her. "I'm Arizona, nice to meet you, babe" she winked when she said babe. "is it bad I don't really want to move my hand from your waist?" she asked me, making me blush. "nah, doesn't bother me, babe" I joked with her. "let me get you a drink, for saving me from her" I giggled and she kindly accepted.

*time skip to the next day*
"have you met the new Peds attending?" Callie asked me and the rest of our group. "nope, is she nice?" Cristina asked her. "yeah, she's really sweet" Meredith agreed with her. "oh there she is now" Callie said looking at someone behind me, and waving them over. "hey, it's Arizona right?" Alex asked. That made my head spin right around. "yes it is, we'll fancy seeing you here, babe" she said giggling at me then sitting beside me. "it feels like ages, babe" I joked.

Everyone looked at us puzzled, as I tell them everything. "you two?" Cristina asked. I looked at Arizona and we both began to giggle. "nope" I said, with a tone of sadness in my voice as I grew close with Arizona at the bar last night, and got to know a lot about her. "maybe" she smiled, which made me smile. "I didn't even know y/n was gay" Alex furrowed his brows. "wasn't rocket science Karev" I said, earning laughs from the table.

We began a new conversation, and half way through a felt an arm snake around my back, gripping the side of my waist. I turned to look at Arizona and she just winked.
