hope this is okay, i'm kinda low on ideas that's why i'm not posting as many, so feel free to comment ideas x

It's Christmas! I woke up and it was 9:05. Jess told me I couldn't wake her up until 9:30, so I sat in bed waiting for the minutes to go by. After what felt like an eternity of waiting I looked at my phone, it was only 9:09. I decided I was going to go downstairs, not into the living room, go to the kitchen and make Jess a cup of tea.

I added the sugar, stirred it all up, then walked back upstairs with a cup in each hand, one for Jess and one for me. I her drink on her bedside table, and my drink on mine. I then got back into bed and laid down, admiring my gorgeous girlfriend, of 2 years. Her long blonde hair sprawled across her pillow, some covering her face. I went on my phone and it was 9:31. I gave her a kiss on the cheek, and she started to stir. Her eyes began to flutter open, and her smile grew on her face. "Merry Christmas " she said in her raspy morning voice. "Merry Christmas love" I smiled, sitting up. "what time is it?" she asked rubbing her eyes.

"9:32" I said checking my phone. "let me get a cup of tea" she said sitting up. "already got u one babe" I said pointing at her bedside table, she smiled lovingly at me, and picked up her tea and took a sip. I heard a little woof at the bedroom door, so I got up and let our dog Grey in. He jumped onto the bed and sat in between Jess and I. We sat in a comfortable silence, drinking our teas, until Jess stood up. "cmon then" she smiled. I squealed, and got out of bed. "your such a child" she laughed. "I know" I said, as I followed her down the stairs, Grey in my arms.

She opened the door to the living room, and all Jess' presents were on one sofa, mine were on the other, and the few things we bought Grey were just on the buffet stool, not wrapped because he's a dog so it's pointless. I sat down on the floor, and Jess sat on the sofa with the presents I got her. "you first" I smiled. She smiled back and picked up a box near the front, she ripped the wrapping off and it showed a Nike Jordan's box, she looked at me raising an eye. "no you didn't" she giggled, opening the box and it was the red and white Nike Air Jordans she has been wanting for a while.

"awh thank you babe" she got up and gave me a kiss, then sat back down again. "now you" she smiled. I took Grey out my lap and put him beside me, then picked a small rectangular box. I ripped the wrapping off and I looked inside the plain black box, it was a silver necklace, with a heart on it. "do you like it?" she asked. "I love it J, thank you" I blew her a kiss. We opened all our other presents, then Jess stood up, turned away from me and looked at the tree, reaching to a bauble. This was the perfect time, I grabbed the ring box from behind the sofa, got down on one knee and waited for her to turn around.

"wait what's this in the bauble?" she asked, completely oblivious, sh then turned around and in one swift motion, faced me and opened a ring box she had obviously got from a bauble. "get up!!" we both shouted. "as if" I laughed. "I planned this so well" she giggled. "clearly great minds think alike" I giggled. "let me go first" She took my hands in hers. "y/n y/l/n, since our first date, I knew it would be you, your so gorgeous, I don't think you even realise how much I love you, please do me the pleasure of becoming your wife, will you marry me?" Jess asked. "yes" I gave her a kiss, and she held her hand on the back of my head, pulling us closer. I then pulled away "my turn" I smiled.

"Jess, I love you more than anyone else in this world, you are my best friend, my girl, my favourite person, and I would love if you would become my wife, will you marry me?" I asked her. "yes!!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around my waist, pulling our body's closer together. I put my hands around the back of her neck, and pulled her in for a kiss. It was a long, passionate, loving kiss, we then pulled away when we both needed air. She sat down on the sofa, and I sat on her lap, facing her, taking the ring out of the box and putting it into her finger. She did the same for me, and she pulled me close. "I love you" She smiled. "I love you more beautiful" I said, kissing the crook of her neck.

"your getting my last name" Jess told me. "really?" I asked. "yes, no question" she kissed me.
