you and arizona have been dating for like 5 months at this point, your also Meredith's sister

y/n pov:
"are we going out tonight? or just to mine" I asked Arizona. she looked at me then sighed, "fine it is Mer's house, but same thing, in my room" I said pulling her closer to me by her waist. "I would love to go out tonight, or to your room, but I have Sofia tonight" she smiled. "oh, okay" I smiled back. "another night?" she asked. "always available for you Zona" I said, then gave her a peck on her lips, then my pager went off. "I have to go to the pit, but i'll see you later? before you pick up Sofia" I smiled at her. "course" she giggled. I walked to the pit, and saw Callie. "hey Torres!" I gave her a high five. even though she was with Arizona, Callie and I are still really good friends, i'd say best friends, but I think Mer would not like that, but she's my sister so she's like a built in best friend. "sup Grey" she smiled.

"i'm headed to the OR, want to come? that's why I paged" she said, pulling a girl with her leg half way up in the air, on the other side of her body, bone sticking out, on a gurney. "definitely!" I exclaimed, I still haven't picked a specialty, but I am deciding between Ortho or General. We made our way to the OR, and scrubbed in, and began surgery. "what's your plans for tonight?" Callie asked me. "I was going to go out with Arizona, but Sofia is at hers so i'm not anymore, so nothing" I told her, with a sad expression. "I could take Sof tonight, if you two wanted a night?" Callie offered. "no no it's not that, it's just I don't think Arizona wants me to meet Sofia, obviously i've met her with you, she knows me as your best friend y/n/n, not her Mom's girlfriend, you know?" I sighed. "really? Arizona loves you, I can tell, maybe you should just mention it to her" Callie said, scraping some of the skin off the girls leg. "i'll do that, thanks C" I smiled.

2 hours later, we finished, and I went to find Arizona. she was in the attending a lounge, technically i'm not supposed to go in there, but I normally do anyway. "Zona?" I asked, as I sat next to her. "yes gorgeous?" she smiled. "do you not want me to meet Sofia?" I asked. her face looked shocked, "no why would you think that?" she asked. "you haven't introduced me to her, or every time it's your night to have her, I don't see you, I get you want time with you daughter obviously, it's not about that, I just, would like to meet her, as your girlfriend, not straight away, but at some point" I told her. "sorry babe, I never even thought about it, you can come back to mine tonight with us" she said, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "okay!" I exclaimed then walked out.

It came to the end of my shift, and found Zona at the daycare picking up Sofia, who is 6 by the way. Arizona came walking out the daycare, with Sofia holding her hand. "hey Sof, this is y/n/n, she's coming back with us tonight" Arizona told us. "momma's friend!" she exclaimed. "i'm also very good friends with your mommy" I said bending down to Sofia's height. "do you like Sofia the first?" she asked. "of course I do! is that your favourite show?" I asked her. "yes! i'm princess Sofia" she giggled. "oh obviously, look at you princess Sofia!" I smiled at her. I stood back up, smiled at Zona, we then walked to her car.

*time skip to 3 months later*

"I can pick up Sofia if you like?" I offered to Arizona. "I think she'd like that, then meet me at the attending lounge, I should be finished 4" she smiled. "see you in an hour then" I gave her a peck on the lips, then walked to go get Sofia from daycare. I walked in and saw her playing with 2 dolls. "hey little princess!" I sat next to her.
"y/n/n!!" she hugged into me. "your mommy doesn't finish for another hour, so you've got me for a full hour, then we are going to mine and auntie Mer's house!" I exclaimed. "yayyyy! let's gooooo" she said jumping up. I stood up and signed her out of daycare. we started walking to the attending lounge, Sofia holding my hand, when she said "y/n" I turned to her. "yes Princess Sofia"

"my legs are tired" she sighed. I smiled at her, she lifted her arms up and I picked her up, carrying her on my hip. "your getting so big princess Sof!" I smiled at her, and we continued walking. When we got to the attendings lounge, Amelia was sat in there, "hi girls" she smiled as I sat next to her, and Sofia sat in between us. "i'm going to y/n's house tonight!" Sofia told Amelia. "really? that's so exciting" Amelia smiled at Sofia.

Arizona's pov:
I had just got out of my meeting and walked to the attendings lounge, I looked through the glass and saw y/n and Sofia drawing. Then y/n starting tickling Sof, which made Sofia laugh so much, then hug y/n. Amelia came past me. "She really loves Sofia" she told me. "i'm gonna marry her" I told her, and Amelia squealed, making y/n and Sofia look up at us, Sofia started waving at me. "don't say anything Amelia!" I told her. "I won't" she smiled, happy with this new information. I then walked in and saw my two girls.

"let's go to y/n's house!!" Sofia giggled
