My wife and I do alternate nights picking up our 5 kids. "go show momma how well you did on your test" I said to one of my oldest child Maddie, who is 12. "okay!!" she ran into the living room, to show Jess. The twins, Luke and Mark, who are 6 went into the kitchen, probably to get a snack. "Mommy, can I get a snack?" Luna, our youngest, who is 2 asked. "of course baby, ask Lukey or Mark to get you what you want" I said giving her a kiss on the head. Then Arlo, 4 came in, holding a project he made in art. "i'm going to show momma!!" he exclaimed then ran into the living room, to join Maddie and Jess. I went into the kitchen to make sure the twins and Luna got a snack okay, they got a packet of oreo's out and they were sharing them between the 3 of them.

I walked into the living room and saw the Arlo on Jess' knee, and Maddie sat beside the two, cuddling into Jess, and her brother. "hey gorgeous" Jess smiled at me. "hi beautiful girl" I leant over Arlo and gave Jess a kiss then sat on the other side of her, and put my head on her shoulder. "hey why don't you two go get a snack?" Jess suggested to the two kids. "okay mamma" they both chimed, hopping off the sofa and walking into the kitchen. "how was your day love?" I asked Jess. "good we only have a couple days left of shooting Holidate" she said, I lifted my head off her shoulder. "awh that's great J!" I exclaimed giving her a kiss.

I reached for the remote, and was scrolling on Disney+ looking for a movie to put on, then in came the twins, Arlo and Luna. "momma!!" the twins ran over to Jess and jumped on top of her. "hey boys!" she smiled hugging them, they then went to sit on the other sofa with Arlo and looked at the tv. "hey luna bear" Jess smiled, picking up Luna. "momma!!" she hugged into Jess. I kept scrolling and then I accidentally scrolled so you could see Wreck it Ralph. "WRECK IT RALPH" the boys all shouted. "ralph! ralph!" Luna clapped her hands in Jess' lap. "shit" I cursed. I used to like this movie, before it became the only thing my children would want to watch. "yay! I love Wreck it Ralph" Maddie said coming in with a juice carton. "maybe we could watch something else?" Jess suggested, hating this movie just as much as me. "nah" "nope" "no" "nope" "no no no" was all they had to say. "okay then" I said through gritted teeth.

Luna went onto the floor and played with her lego train, so I put my head onto Jess' lap, looking up at her. she started playing with my hair. "Mommy, what's for dinner?" Mark asked. "what do you want Marky?" I asked him, still laying on Jess' lap. "pizza!" he exclaimed. "me too" Arlo said. "can I have turkey dinos mommy?" Luna asked. "course you can baby girl" I said. "can I have pasta mom?" Maddie asked. "can I have pasta too?" Luke asked. "okay, so you two can share a pizza" I said sitting up pointing at Mark and Arlo. "you can have turkey dinos" I smiled at Luna. "and i'll make you two some pasta" I said to Maddie and Luke.

"what would you like my beautiful wife?" I asked Jess. "do you want to share a pizza babe?" she asked back. "sure" I said giving her a kiss. "now let's watch this movie" Maddie told everyone. We got about 10 minutes watched before someone started talking again. "mommy can I have dinner now?" Arlo asked. "does Marky want it now?" I asked. "yes please" he said smiling with his two front teeth missing. "okay, anyone else want food now?" I asked. "yes please" the other three kids replied. "okay" I sighed, getting up and walked into the kitchen. I put the oven on for the pizza and turkey dinosaurs, then tried to look for some pasta sauce, which I successfully found by the time the oven was done heating up. I put the boys pizza in, then the turkey dinosaurs underneath. I put the pasta on the stove when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. "hi gorgeous" Jess whispered into my ear, I spun round so I was now facing her.

I gave her a peck on the lips, but she began to deepen it, which I of course melted into. My arms wrapped around her neck and her hands landed onto my ass. I then pulled away and turned back around to make sure the pan didn't over bubble. Jess let go and started setting the table for the kids to eat. "is it bath night?" I asked turning around again. "nope" she replied. Shortly the pizza and turkey dinos fully cooked and then put them onto plates for the twins and Luna.

"can you get all of them" I asked Jess, so she walked into the living room, then came back in with all the kids. I finished up the pasta, then gave everyone their food. "when you guys are done eating, go upstairs and get your pjs on please" Jess told them. they all nodded, then I went upstairs to get the kids pyjamas out. I heard footsteps running up the stairs, then Arlo came running in. "mommy" he said tugging on my joggers. "yeah buddy?" I asked concerned. "Lulu is sick" he said, then ran back downstairs. I ran downstairs and there was sick on the floor that Jess was trying to clean up and Luna looked pale in the face. "oh baby girl" I said picking Luna up out of her high chair. I put her on my hip then took her upstairs. I helped her get her pjs on and then put her onto her bed. "you wait here and mommy will get you some medicine" I told her, booping her nose. "okay mommy" she said, not in her usual cheery tone.

I walked downstairs, and Jess was now carrying Mark upstairs, he had sick around his mouth. "Marky?" I asked. "I feel sick mommy" he said, as Jess took him upstairs. I cleaned up the sick that Mark left. "Maddie sweetheart, can you take Luke and Arlo upstairs please, and get into your pjs guys" I told the other kids. they nodded, and walked upstairs. I finished cleaning up the table, and the sick, then got the medicine for Luna and Mark. As I went upstairs I could hear throwing up in the main toilet.

I walked in and it was Luke. I rubbed his back as he threw up, then carried him into his and Mark's room. I placed him on his bed, he then got his pyjamas on. I gave all 3 kids the medicine. Jess and I went to go downstairs and wait until the kids needed tucking into bed. I put my head on her shoulder sighing. "god I hate when they are sick" I told her. "it's like domino's, when one gets sick the rest all start to be sick" She sighed, kissing my head. we then heard footsteps, it was Arlo. "mommy, momma, I don't feel so good" he said, he looked pale too. I walked over to him and picked him up. "come here buddy, let's get you some medicine" I carried him into the kitchen, then placed him on the counter, and gave him some medicine. I picked him back up, then walked to the living room. "let's put them to bed" I told Jess, she nodded then we walked upstairs.

we took Arlo to his room, then tucked him into bed first. Then we went to the twins room. "night guys" We smiled, giving one a kiss on the head, then Jess and I switched over and gave the other twin a kiss on the head. We then went to Luna's room, "cmon baby girl, sleep time" I told her, we got her cozy in bed. "love you Luna bear" Jess smiled giving her a kiss on the head, I did the same. We then finally went to Maddie's room. "hey Mads, you don't have to go to bed yet, just don't stay up too late" Jess said walking over to her. "night momma" I then came over to her, giving her a hug. "night mom" We then left and went to get our pyjamas on, then went downstairs.

We scrolled looking for a movie and decided on Captain Marvel. "I love you y/n Capshaw" Jess smiled at me. "and I love you Jessica Capshaw" I smiled back, giving her a kiss. We then cuddled up together and watched the movie, until I suddenly got up and ran to the downstairs bathroom. I began throwing up in the toilet, and Jess came in after me holding my hair up, kissing the back of my neck. Once I had finished, I brushed my teeth and sighed "great"

"let's go to bed babe" she said, giving me a kiss on the cheek. We turned the movie off and went upstairs. We got into bed, and I crawled into Jess' arms, my face in the crook of her neck. "night love" she said kissing my head. "goodnight"
