Hi! Please don't read this if you haven't read the final chapter yet. This will spoil it all.
Thank you again for reading this story and supporting it. I will be forever grateful to you for giving me the confidence to try and to keep going. I'm going to attempt to keep this as short as I can, but knowing me, it'll run away from me. You're already aware of how I can turn a simple thing into a wordy ramble. At the end of Marked Me Like a Bloodstain, Jake and Manon are engaged. It was always the plan and I'm so happy with how it came together. I originally planned to write a few bonus chapters that would show them planning the wedding, writing vows and then finally, the wedding day and wedding night. That was my plan, but I should know by now that I can't stick to any plan.
Back in February, I outlined these bonus chapters and began writing for them. It soon became apparent that it was bigger than I thought and a few bonus chapters weren't going to cut it. Not for me, nor for Manon and Jake. I've mentioned before that Manon often takes the lead when I'm writing, she decides how things go and that's what happened here. So, the idea of a sequel was conceived. And soon I had the entire thing outlined and plotted out. I knew which POVs it would include and every other tiny detail. I then commissioned an artist to make me a book cover for it and I have been holding onto it, desperate to share it ever since. Only a few have asked me for a sequel. Still, I want to write it and have so much already written, so why the fuck not?!
It will be called: Paper Rings & Dirty Dreams It is a romantic comedy, no mystery or bad guys out for their blood. Just romance, smut, fluff and my attempts at comedy. I want it to be fun and lighthearted. I wanted to write something full of joy after a tough year. It won't be anywhere near as long as Marked Me Like a Bloodstain as it focuses on the wedding planning and then the wedding day/night and everything that comes with all of that. I'm thinking a maximum of 13 chapters.
The whole gang is heavily involved! Steve will make a return and he brings with him his wife, Natalya. Jake also has a few things left to sort out and that will be included in this story. Now that you are aware, I figured I would share the cover, blurb and a couple snippets before I go. One is intended to be humorous and the other is smutty. I'm a tease. I hope to see you there when I post the first chapter! If I don't, I completely understand, and I thank you for reading Bloodstain.
