My days at laceville academy

CHAPTER TWO

   The first week of my resumption at lace ville was perfect,my new friends were amazing.Lola was the friendly type,Titi was a wild gossiper, Joseph was super funny and Daniel was the smart one.What was I then ?I ask myself as I get down from aunty Amaka's car and start heading to my class.
   Amarachi and Fechi were ahead of me they were talking about something which I knew they didn't want me to know about.They didn't know I heard a little of their conversation.
  "Tems said that he'll be coming today,I can't wait to see him,Amarachi abeg describe him again sef"fechi says to amarachi who eyes her.
    "Abeg don't start ooh, he's mine"amarachi says feigning anger but some part of it was real.
  "Which one is he's yours,do you know whether he has a gf sef" fechi says and hisses loudly.
  "Single or not he's mine"amarachi says and walks into her class leaving an angry fechi
  "He's mine"fechi mimicks amarachi and hisses before going to her class.
   I walk into the class to see almost all the girls in the class gathering something or someone,they were all laughing.I raised my left brow Wondering what could have caught their attention.
   "Omo the boy fine Sha"Titi says as I take my sit.
"Good morning"we all greet.
  "Eh hen Chiomaa have you seen the new student?"Titi asks
  "No,I just came"I say rolling my eyes.
  "Girl you need to check him out"Lola says and Daniel rolls his eyes.
   "Do you even have a boyfriend"Titi suddenly asks.
  "Titi,I don't do boys"I say and look at her.
  "Good,a correct example of an independent woman"Daniel says and Titi eyes him.
"So me I'm not independent"she asks Daniel with a frown.
"I didn't say so"
  "I don't even know why I haven't cut those your pink lips,so that you can stop talking any how
  "Which pink lips?"I ask as everyone starts laughing except from Daniel.
"Guys, that's not funny"He says in a sad tone.
We keep on laughing.
"Just give me two days then you'll see the effect of my pink lips balm "he says,we all stop laughing to look at him then we burst out in another round of laughter.
"Is okay naw...ah ahn,but at least he's a fine boy"I say and Daniel smiles while the other nods.
   "Hey"someone suddenly shouts,we turn to look at Anastasia who wore a very short skirt,prolly to impress the new boy I've been hearing of."all of you get out of there give him some space please,let him breathe"she screams and the girls start scurrying away.Anastacia then goes to sit with the new boy,I wondered why the girls behaved like that and what they actually saw in the new boy but when i stole a glance at him I gulped,he was perfect,and I wasn't even looking at him from a close distance.
   "Fool"Titi says while looking at Anastasia"she claims that he is ger childhood friend,idiot"
  "Ah ahn Titi you wan marry the boy"Lola says jokingly.
  "Leave am naw, make she dey dream"Joseph joked too but Titi didn't find that funny.
"What's wrong with you guys"she asks with all seriousness and we all stop to look at her.
  She hisses loudly and continues copying her note.
  "Sorry we didn't mean......"Lola and Joseph chorus but she cuts them shut
  "Save it"she interrupt and hisses before taking her book and pen and leaving the class.
   "She'll come back"Lola says in a relaxing time.
