CHAPTER FOUR

   We were eating at the cafeteria,I was munching on some snacks,I never got snacks like this In the village.
     Lola and Titi were chatting, Joseph was focused on his food while Daniel and I were gisting.He was telling me a very funny story when suddenly Anastasia pulled my hair so hard from behind.Titi stood up immediately in rage"Anastasia have you lost it?"she asks
  "Lost what?"she asks, smirks and looks at me "listen, Titi or whatever your name is I don't have your time okay"she stops and looks at Titi who was shaking in anger then she turns to me "and you, tell your stupid cousin to stay away from my bestie, that's all I came to say"she says and turns her back,she starts walking but Titi is quick to drag her hair and slap her hard on the cheek.The whole place became silent,you could hear a pin drop.
  "How dare you"she screams,and attempts to slap Titi but she twist her hand backward .You can a girl like her.I could see her veins popping on her head as she yelps in pain,I felt satisfied seeing her like that,Titi then released her grip on her,she looks at Titi  in hatred and tries to say something but when she opened her mouth what came out was a cry.
   "I hope this would teach you never to mess with me again"Titi says and smiles "you are lucky that I'm in a good mood today,if not"she says and smirk.She turns back and takes her sit.
  "Bitch"I hear her say.The whole cafeteria burst out in laughter as she runs away in tears saying "I want my daddy".How pathetic.
   Everyone in the cafe gathers around Titi immediately except for the new boy who looked at Titi with dark eyes,'was he really Anastasia best friend?' I think and brush out the thought immediately.

    "It's a very simple practical, maybe the simplest you would ever encounter in this term"Our biology teacher,Mrs Franca says and we all roll our eyes.
  "It's the process of auxin formation,you will carry out the practical with a corn seed, I'll explain the rest later"with that she started telling everyone his or her partner.Everyone one was happy about their partner except for Anastasia and me I guess.I know what you are thinking,I wasn't paired with Anastasia,I was paired with the new boy and Anastasia hated it,she herself was paired with a nerd.I wished we could switch partners,I didn't want to work with that boy,he looks bossy and proud just like Anastasia and I just can't put up with that,worst thing is I haven't even talked to him and he hasn't talked to me too.Every one was discussing with their partner on were they would meet for the practical.We were to submit it on Monday morning and today was Friday so we had only Saturday and Sunday to prepare for it, which means you had to go to the house of your partner and I was not going to his house,Not,Never,ever.
   I rested my head on my desk and sighed,I peeked at him and he didn't even look bothered,he was just answering some questions in his past question.
   "Sorry girl"Lola says and pats my back
   "Why me?"I ask her and she chuckles.Just then I see amarachi walking towards the new boy, Amarachi and I are in the same class, just that I'm in sciences and she's in commercial.She walks towards the boy and sits on his seat,then she waves at him,he immediately gets up and leaves the class leaving amarachi with a sad look.I became more nervous on how my practical with him will go
