My days at laceville academy

Chapter eighteen

   (Selena's pov)
   I was so surprised when I saw kunle at laceville...like,wtf is he doing there.The last time I saw him was in the junior class,he attended my school in Benin, that's when we got to know each other.We were good friends but at a point I wanted it to be more than that,I guess I was just young.I dunno if I still have feelings for him,so I'm going to try my luck and ask him out.I am pretty, confident and I have a nice shape.I smile when I remember all my assets.I was blessed.
    I take my phone and immediately tap on kunle's number,it rang for like ten seconds and then he answered it.
   "Hey sel"
   "Hi k, what's up"
   "Am good"
   "Sorry did I wake you up?"I ask when I hear his sleepy voice.
    "It's ok"
    "Ok....um,are you free today?"I ask as my heart's pound inside my chest.
   "What time today?"he asks
   "Anytime you are free"I reply
   "Ok,you wanna hang out"
     "Yh, its been long yunno"
      "Yh,long time"
     ".... I've missed you"I say .
    "Me too,I'll call you when I'm free.....em,just come by 2:00"
"Kk"
    I squeal in delight as I drop my phone this could be my chance to have him for myself.I walk to my wardrobe and pick out a red flowery gown with matching purse and sandals.I'ma dress to kill.
(3 hrs later)
    I get into my car at exactly 1:45, wait,am I too early?I don't want him to think I'm desperate,oh well.
     My driver parks in front of kunle's house,I look up at the magnificent view.I know I'm rich but I know I can't be compared to kunle.
    His gateman soon opens the gate for me and I see what I had least expected to see.Standing not so far away was kunle and that chioma girl sharing a deep kiss,they pull away,chioma looking flustered and kunle catching his breath.Tears stings my eyes as I walk back into my car.
    What did kunle see in that stupid girl?Of course she's preety but I'm way more prettier than her.I never liked this chioma girl right from the first day I met her,first it was Lola and now her new Target is kunle.
    A smirk finds its way to my lip "kunle is mine"I say under my breath"and no girl in or out of laceville will take him away"
   Chioma soon walks out of his house with a red face,she was walking uneasily.I waited till she was out of sight before alighting from the car.
    I walk into his house and see him standing by the gate with a stupid smile on his preety face.
   "Oh sel,you are here"kunle says and I nod.
    "So where should we go"
    "Your choice"
    "You can take me any where you want"I say and he nods.
