"I thought you'd be somewhere in Cuba by now, not lurking over me." Syre grumbled as he smelled that familiar perfume radiating from behind him.
"This used to be my business, I'm allowed to check up on it." Deaneveah's thick accent fluttered into his ear as she ran the tip of her nails down the back of his neck.
"No need to worry, it's all good. Stop touching." He warned.
Frustrated she tilted her head at him and pulled her hand back. Leaning against the table where he was counting money, she crossed her arms and squinted at him.
"You don't miss me? Why're you acting like this?"
"Veah." He sighed. "I got shit to do."
Pushing the money away from his hands, she stepped in front of him and blocked the table.
"You think I don't got shit to do? I'm trying to have a discussion with you, about you and I."
"Ain't no you and I." He breathed out with an annoyed expression, reaching out and pushing her aside as nicely as he could.
He figured when she pulled out of the game, she'd be gone for good. Yet here she was, popping up like she still ran anything.
Deaneveah was a mistake Syre allowed to keep happening, but he couldn't argue the fact that he enjoyed his time with her.
Unlike the other "older" women in his pst, he had a choice in whether or not he wanted to sleep with Dean and he wanted to...
Behind his mother's back, he actually found someone to enjoy sex with. At 18, she was still trying to pimp him out and if she found out he was out having sex for his own pleasure, it would've resulted in him getting beaten. It didn't really make a difference either way, he still got beaten just for breathing.
So he took his chances. With Deaneveah, it was strictly sex but for her, she wanted more from her young lover. He would never give her that satisfaction.
"There could be."
"I, have a girlfriend and you have Hani." He reminded her.
Her face filled in surprise and she scoffed. "You? You have a girlfriend. You lie to me now?"
He sucked his teeth. "Ion have a reason to lie, Especially to you, and you know that. Get real..."
She un-crossed her arms, clearly upset and began to fuss. "What's her name?"
"Ain't shit you need to know."
"You think I won't find out?"
"If you do that's your business. I don't need to discuss her with you. Period."
