"I need a nap." Sybil said, exhaling in exhaustion. Resting back against the examination table, she looked over at Syre who was like watching her softly.

"We had a long morning."

She nodded in agreements letting out a small yawn and rubbing her eyes.

Between walking through what felt like a million stores so they could add items to the baby registry and preparing for their trip to Aruba, they were both very tired. Of course, Sybil more than Syre since she was carrying an entire person.

"Did we add the Convertible Stroller or regulars?" She asked with her eyes closed, trying to remember which one they chose. Yet, she kept drawling a blank.

"Convertible baby."

"Okay good....that's easier."

A soft knock caught their attention and the door opened slowly. Dr. Moore poked her head in and smiled, walking in the room fully and shutting the door behind her.

"Hi parents." She looked at Sybil and gasped. "Look at you! We've got a showing belly now."

Sybil let out a small laugh and nodded. "I know...it came out of nowhere."

Dr. Moore smiled. "Any movement?"

Sybil beamed immediately. "Oh my God, yes. I felt kicks just last week..."

"I love to hear that. Everything been okay? How's the heartburn? I know that was one of our difficult issues."

"It's been better. Sometimes it's really really bad. But I'll either just ride it out or take a tums."

"Okay, well that's good you've found a way to manage it. Hopefully they'll settle the closer we get to the due date. Baby S probably has a head full of hair." She laughed.

Dr. Moore always called the baby "Baby S" for Baby Sutherland. Since they didn't want to know the sex until this visit, she gave the baby a nickname so it wouldn't feel so....distant.

"Well let's jump right in, see how you're looking. I know you said you guys are leaving on a trip in a couple weeks, right?"

"Yeah and we just wanna make sure everything is good. I don't want to put any stress on her, we can always reschedule it for a later date." Syre said.

Dr. Moore gave an understanding smile. "I think she'll be just fine. Aside from the heartburn, everything has been perfect with Baby S. No reason I would say you guys couldn't go. How long is the flight?"

"Shy of 5 hours." He answered.

"Okay, that's not too bad." She said as she prepared the machine once again. Sybil lifting her shirt and already knowing the drill. "I think you guys will be good to go. Now...let's see how we're looking."
