"...and then, StarStar picked me up so I could see the monkey all the way in the back!"

"She did huh? She ain't never pick me up."

Nate laughed and shook his head. "You're a big boy, she probably can't pick you up."

"Mmm, you prolly right bout that. You way smaller."

"Yea! I'm small. But I'm still strong tho..."

"That's wassup lil man."

Sybil entered the living room and smirked at me and Nate. He was sitting on my knee and telling me all about their day at the Zoo.

"Nate, are you trying to steal my boyfriend?" She teased him.

"No, but he is my best friend now."

"I'm your best friend Nate?"

"Yea!" He giggled.

Sybil gasped. "Well what does that make me?"

"You're my favorite cousin."

She huffed playfully. "I guess that's good enough." She leaned down and snatched him up from my lap. "You're lucky I love you!"

I watched as he laughed in her arms and she eventually put him on his feet. He ran out of the living room toward the kitchen and Sybil turned to me.

"I heard that you got scared of an elephant." I teased.

She shook her head and stepped closer to me, sitting herself in my lap. "That elephant was getting a bit too close."

"Pussy." I poked her side and she slapped my hand.

"Don't be mean. I'm carrying your child."

Hearing that made me smile and I wrapped my arms around her waist. Pulling her closer to me.

"Mmm...yes you are." I planted a kiss on her shoulder. "What's the plan tonight?"

"Mmm, movies in my old bedroom."

"Wanna get a head start?" I asked checking my watch. It was going on 8:30. "We can heat up some of those leftovers and take em' upstairs."

"You want me to take food to my room? In my momma's house?"

"Sib...you not serious..."

"I never take food to my room."

"You're a grown ass woman."

She rolled her eyes. "My momma scary though..."

"Fine." I laughed. "We'll eat down here. Then we can go upstairs."

She smiled proudly and nodded. "Good plan."
