We stood in front of some monitors, and Gamora started informing us, "The Stone reacts to anything organic. The bigger the target, the bigger the power surge." Peter followed up, "All Ronan's got to do is touch the stone to the planet's surfaces and zap. All plants, animals, Nova Corps." Gamora added, "Everything will die." I nodded, "So Ronan does not make the surface. Rocket will lead a team to blow a hole in the Dark Aster's starboard hull. Then, our craft and Yondu's will enter." 

Kraglin spoke up, "Won't there be hundreds of Sakaaran soldiers inside?" I smirked and nodded to Drax, "Drax, please inform Kraglin what you think of Sakaarans." Drax looks at Kraglin, "I think of Sakaaran as paper people." Kraglin smiled and punched Drax's arm, only to look panicked when Drax didn't like it.

During Peter and Gamora's talk, I went to get ready and I didn't change seeing as I always wear the same armor. The gold that I have had since being with Yondu. I guess I am easy to spot. All gold. No other colors. I sat down at a table and called Dey to warn him, per Peter's request, seeing as they might listen to me more.

"Dey. It's Nefertiti. I know that the Nova Corps don't think much of Quill, the Ravagers, or the ones you send to Kyln. Gamora, Drax, Groot, Rocket, and Peter just escaped from Kyln. But you have to listen, Ronan has an infinity stone and is heading to destroy Xandar. We can't let him kill billions of innocent lives. Please help us. Peter also told me to tell you that he knows he's an a-hole and I said that he's right, but he's not one hundred percent a dick."

I hung up, leaving that message as Dey didn't pick up and I hope that he listens to it. I walked out of my quarters and walked beside Gamora, who gave me a small smile. Peter and the rest got into the Milano and I grinned, getting into my ship, Legionnaire. Rocket called over the comm link, "Um..Why don't I like that grin that Nefertiti is giving?" 

Gamora replied, "Welcome to the start of Lilith, boys. She didn't get that name for nothing."

Dey's POV

I hurried to Nova Prime and looked around, "Nova Prime. I received a transmission from one of the Ravagers. She says that Ronan's in possession of something called an Infinity stone and he's heading toward Xandar." Saal rolled his eyes, "If it was anyone but Nefertiti, I would say they're a criminal, but I bet the Quill put her up to it." 

Nova Prime looked at me, "Did she say why we should believe her?" I nodded, " She said that the rest of her crew just escaped from Prison so they'd have no other reason to risk coming to Xandar to help. She said that her brother is an a-hole and Nefertiti would never call someone, much less her brother. To his face anyway. But he's not one hundred percent a dick. And I am quoting her there." 

Nova Prime stared at me, "Do you believe her?" I shrugged, "I don't know that I believe anyone is one hundred percent a dick, ma'am." Nova Prime sighed, "I mean, do you believe that she is here to help?" I smiled, "Yeah. Nefertiti might be part Sovereign, but she's definitely not like them." 

The Nova Prime smiled at this.

Nefertiti's POV

The Ravager fleet, the Milano, and Legionnaire flew out to intercept Ronan's ship, hopefully to stop it from making landfall. Kraglin, Rocket, I flew in front of them after distracting Ronan and broke a hole in the ship, big enough for Peter and Yondu to go in. 

I gritted my teeth as we were quickly overpowered and I started shooting Ronan's minions. Also confused about where the other shots were coming from. "Peter Quill and Nefertiti. This is Denarian Saal of the Nova Corps. For the record, I advised against trusting anyone but Nefertiti here." Peter sounded excited, "They got our dick message, Nefer!" Saal added, "Prove me wrong." 

The Nova Corps, Rocket, and I continued to take out Ronan's soldiers and I looked up to see Ronan starting to descend. I cursed, "Shit. Rocket!" Rocket called back, "I see it!" We watched as all the Nova Corps created a blockade, widening my eyes, "It's never going to hold. Saal! Get out of there!" Saal called back, 'We must not break the barrier!" I snarled, "You'll never survive! Ronan will tire of your games!"

I then looked down to see the soldiers dive-bombing the city, "Shit. Rocket. Let's kill some assholes." Rocket cheered and we both dived down to shoot some enemy crafts down before they killed innocent people. I gasped as I saw Dey's wife and daughter about to get hit and I exploded the ship that was heading for them, "Stay away from the Xandarians. Saal, we will take care of the citizens down here. Keep Ronan up there as long as possible." 

Rocket and I hovered over some of the water and I called out to the remaining Ravagers, "Everyone shoot them before they hit the ground." I input a command into my ship and it automatically locks on to every single enemy ship, firing ammo at them at once. Rocket whistles, "I got to have that code, Fern. You got to teach me that!" 

I gasped as I saw all the Nova Corp ships explode Ronan grew tired of the hold-up and I gritted my teeth, yelling out over the comm links, "Bastard!"
