But the witch's brother was quite wrong. The Foolish Wizard did not know that sometimes day does turn into night. It is called an Eclipse when the Moon covers the Sun so that there is no light on Earth day turns into even if just for a some time. This is what happened on the next noon.
"What!" exclaimed the witch. "A Brunch! I am not going! Oh! Let the Prince come today. I shall kill him! Aaargh!" Asmund and Singy had found their way to the Witch's mansion and overheard this terrible plot while looking in the window.
There were two knocks on the door of the house just then afterwards.
"Ah, he's here!" exclaimed the Witch. She transformed herself back into Singy's appearance again and calls out. "Coming!"
Nobody was aware the real Prince and Princess were already awake and watching the witch and her brother continue plotting. Asmund was angry the stern tone of his voice perfectly said it all. "The witch just turned into you!"
Singy's eyes were concentrated on the witch and was putting the pieces together into a much bigger picture than other Princesses ever did.
She thought to herself she thought but she was speaking aloud. "My necklace! That bird!"
"Whoever is knocking they must be Prince Ring." guessed Asmund he and his sister were raised to be as smart as each other.
"We must tell him." Singy insisted to her brother afterwards. That night, when Prince was going back after dropping the witch, Prince Asmund stopped him on his way back. Then Prince Ring got out of his coach and walked up to the other Prince and immediately inquired of him. "Who are you? Why do you stand in my way thus?"
"I'm Prince Asmund, brother of Princess Singy." Asmund introduced himself to Prince Ring right away.
"So, is the war over?" asks Prince Ring. "Where are your Parents?"
Asmund tells Ring the truth straight out very bravely. "There was no war, and the woman who is staying in the mansion is not my sister. She is not Princess Singy, she is a witch!"
"How do I believe, what you say?" inquired Prince Ring.
"She is not Princess Singy," The real Princess Singy came out of the woods by the road to stand by her brother in her outdoorsy village clothes not a royal ballgown. "I am! Come with us!"
Asmund and Singy took the Prince to the mansion to the window into the witch's room where she was kicking and screaming again. She tore off Singy's necklace and turned into her own form.
"Aaah! Aargh! I am so tired of being Miss Goody Two Shoes! Where is the wild life of the forest where I could kick and run and scream all I liked! Uh! I hate smiling all day. I hate speaking in a nice, polite manner and I am starving! How little they eat! How little they eat! I will eat my brother if he does not bring food for me now! Right Now!"
Suddenly the floor gave way and her brother appeared with a table ladened with food.
"I am done! One more day of being the Princess... and I shall kill the Prince myself!"
Her brother tried to reason with her. "Are you out of your mind? The King of this kingdom is really powerful. He will punish us both!"
"Then bring back the original Singy and let us Flee!" instructed the witch.
"I can't!" argued back the Wizard. "I put a spell on them to sleep till day turns into night which is impossible. Asmund and Singy are never coming back!"
"Then when the Prince comes in the morning, we shall cast a spell on him and on the palace and flee!"
"NO, YOU WON'T!" shouted Prince Ring at her and standing beside him was Princess Singy and her brother Prince Asmund to the Wizard's shock questioning the siblings. "How did you come back?"
"Hahaha!" Asmund chuckles. "Because noon turned into night!"
"Really?!" inquired the Wizard. "When?!"
"You should really get your General Knowledge going."
With Asmund distracting and beating up the wizard. Singy was able to steal her pendant back when the witch dropped it in surprise at their entry with Prince Ring's own shouting. She put it back on around her neck. Asmund had the witch and wizard tied up in no time.
Then Princess Singy announced. "We should send a message to Mother and Father. They must be so worried about us!"
So a message was sent to Asmund and Singy's Mother and Father. They had also been relieved of the wizard's spell on the day noon turned into night. They all visited Prince Ring's land. Prince Ring had hopeleslu fallen in love with Singy and Asmund had fallen in love with Prince Ring's sister!"
Both weddings were celebrated with pomp and splendour and they all lived happily ever after. As regards to the witch and the wizard, they were locked up in the same oak trees where they remained even when noon turned into night!
