This is my first book about a Princess I own that is not attached to any movie. I have no idea when it was published and no clue who the Author is it a Child Board Book but I thought it was cute enough to share with you guys, my wonderful other find besides that "The Frog Princess" Story found it at the exact same place I found the other.
The Princess and the Rose Bush
Author is Anonymous.Celeste was a beautiful Princess who lived in a magical castle with her Motht, the Queen. One day she heard about a handsome Prince who was trapped in a thorny rose bush deep in a dark forest. She could not stand the thought of anyone in peril. So she said goodbye to her Mother and decided to go rescue him,
After searching in the forest for hours, she heard a voice calling, "Help! Help!" She followed the sound and soon found a handsome Prince trapped in a briar thicket. "My goodness," Celeste said. "How did you get yourself in this tangle?" "A witch cast a spell on this bush. When I tried to pick a rose, it ensnared me."
"Let me help you," Celeste said.
Celeste knew she had to work quickly, as the Prince was in a great deal of pain. She dug into her knapsack, where she had packed magical scissors. She clipped and clipped, carefully pulling each thorny vine away. Once freed, the Prince kneeled and said, "I am Philippe. I pledge my undying gratitude to you."Soon after, the Prince called to the Princess and he said he had a surprise for her. "I have planted this enchanted rose garden in honor of the time you rescued me," Philippe said. These roses will bloom all year long——and they have no thorns." They laughed and the two lived happily ever after.
(Author's Note from Lumna10 Maybe the Beast's Father could have this story in the Ever After High universe in my fanfiction book, huh, Skylights?)
