1.Ash's Story (Part 2: Johto)

Chapter 29

When we arrive at Mahogany Town, we decide to take a rest in the Pokemon Center. We decided to buy some Rage Candy Bars because they are famous around here.

"Now I think we're ready to face the Masked Man Pryce himself." I say.

Ethan says, "I just hope he isn't going to be that tough..."

But when we arrive at the gym, the gym guide says, "Have you seen this guy with a black cape? He has been going back and forth between here and the Lake of Rage saying strange radio waves are being transmitted. Who is he, I wonder."

"Strange radio waves being transmitted? That sounds bad..." I say.

"Lake of Rage is actually in the north after Route 43. I think we should go there and check it out." Reisa says.

When we head to Lake of Rage, we stop at a Town where we find Team Rocket using a giant Mecha Gengar to capture the Psychic Type Pokemon in the region, but thanks to a Girafarig, who helps Pikachu destroy the machine with the Confusion, and it also uses Future Sight to defeat the machine, sending them blasting off again.

The Girafarig is actually really friendly towards us, that's why Lillie and I decide to capture it.

Girafarig: The Long Neck Pokemon: Normal and Psychic Type. When it is in danger, its tail uses some sort of mysterious powers to drive away the enemy.

Once we walk past the route, we get to the Lake of Rage. The weather is awful and they see that a lot of people are panicking.

"What's going on here?" Ash asks a man, who tells them about the raging Gyarados, not to mention that the Gyarados are red-colored.

"A Red-colored Gyarados? And it is raging? I wonder what is going on..." Ethan says.

"Whatever it is, it is not really friendly." I say. I try to have Pikachu battle, but much to our surprise, Pikachu and Togetic are not feeling well, and I also start to get a little dizzy.

"Ash, are you alright?" Lillie asks.

"I don't know... but I feel weak all of a sudden..." I mutter.

Just then, a Dragonite appears and we are shocked to see that the Champion Lance is coming towards us. "Lance!" Reisa gasps.

"Dragonite! Use Thunder Wave!" Then we see Lance using his Dragonite to attack the Gyarados. Kris asks, "Who is that guy? He's so cool with that Dragonite."

"That's Lance, he's the Champion of Johto." I say. Then I notice a Red Scale on the floor, I pick it up and put it in my pocket.

Then we see how Lance captures the Red Gyarados and then turns to us. "How did you guys end up here in Lake of Rage?"

"We heard from the Gym guide that someone is creating strange radio waves and we want to stop them...but it seems I'm also affected..." I say.

"Let me guess, Ms. Ketchum sends you here?" Lillie asks. "Considering you're a crucial member of the International Police and also the commander of the G-men division."

"Of course, I came to investigate the raging red Gyarados after hearing some rumblings. The Gyarados is not acting right. As I feared, Team Rocket must have forced it to evolve..." Lance says. "If you don't mind, could you help me investigate?"

"Of course, we also want to know who causes Gyarados to act like that." Lillie says.

"Excellent! It seems that the Lake of Rage's Magikarp is being forced to evolve. A mysterious radio broadcast coming from Mahogany is probably the cause. And that suspicious souvenir shop... I'll be waiting for you in Mahogany."
