When we arrived at the Blackthorn City Gym, we were surprised to see a lot of lava around the area. And there is also the gym guide, who says, "Yo! Champ in making! It's been a long journey, but we are almost done! Count on me! Clair uses the mythical and sacred dragon-type Pokémon. You can't damage them very easily. But you know, they're supposed to be weak against ice-type moves."

"Of course they are. There are also Fairy moves that they're weak to." Lillie says.

This time Ethan is the one going first in the gym battle, and he will be the one battling the gym challengers this time. When we arrive at the platform, we find that we can actually move it.

"So we can move left or right. But what about this button?" When Ethan steps on the button, we are spinning around.

"Stop... you're making us dizzy..." East says, and then when we try to move it back, we can get to the next platform and now the entrance is gapped by the lava.

The first trainer is the Dragon Tamer named Paulo. He says, "Your first battle against dragons? I'll show you how tough they are!"

Then he starts with two Dratini and a Seadra, Ethan uses Pibu and Sudobo to defeat them. "That's too bad."

Then we continue and meet the second Dragon Tamer named Lola. She says, "Dragons are sacred Pokemon. They are full of life energy. If you're not serious, you won't be able to beat them."

"We're serious all the time." Ethan says. Lola goes for a Dratini and a Dragonair, but Ethan manages to defeat them with Sudobo.

We arrive at the second platform, and it is getting harder since we have to rotate and move forward. In the end, we arrive at the next platform, and there are more Dragon Tamers there.

The third Dragon Tamer is named Cody. He says, "It's not as if we all use Dragon-type Pokemon. It's about more than that - We're interested in strong Pokemon. That's my theme!"

Then he goes for Horsea and Seadra, which are defeated by Sunbo. "Just what I expected."

The fourth Dragon Tamer is Fran, she says, "I've been training hard with Clair. There's no way I can lose!"

Then she uses Seadra, which is also defeated by Sunbo. "Oh, that's disappointing."

And the final trainer is a Dragon Tamer named Mike. "My chance of losing? Not even one percent!"

"You're cocky, aren't you?" Ethan says as he goes with Dragonair only, which is defeated by Sudobo. "That's odd."

Then we're now finishing the last puzzle, which we need to rotate more times than the first two. Lillie says, "Good thing we are still alive here..."

"Yeah, the lava looks intimidating and the spinning is making me dizzy..." I say.

Then we finally arrive at where Clair is located, and she says, "I am Clair. The world's best Dragon-type master. I can hold my own against even the Pokémon League's Elite Four. Do you still want to take me on? ...Fine. Let's do this! As a Gym Leader, I will use my full power against any opponent!"

Kaburagi is the referee and they have a battle. Blackthorn Gym Leader Clair in a two-on-two battle. Clair leads with Kingdra, to which Ethan responds with Pichu.

Pichu tries to Thunderbolt Kingdra, and despite a direct hit, Kingdra easily shakes the attack off. Kingdra responds with Twister, which catches Pichu. However, Pichu manages to recover and launches a Thunder attack, only for Kingdra to shake it off as well.

"Why does Kingdra keep repelling Pichu's attacks?" Ethan says in confusion.

"It is because it is now a Dragon-Type also." Kris replies to him as he groans.
