Five days later
Brina smiled at Mizu's enthusiasm, her heart swelling with love for her daughter. As they were playing, Mizu stood up, placed her head and hands on the floor, and looked in between her legs.
Brina raised an eyebrow, curious about what her daughter was doing. "What you lookin' at, Mizu?" "I don't know" Mizu giggled, swaying a bit.
Brina felt a funny feeling, as she remembered an old myth suggesting that if a baby is looking between their legs, they are looking for a sibling to play with.
'Oh hell nah' Brina's reaction was swift as she gently pushed Mizu forward with her foot. 'No babies, yet' Mizuki stumbled forward, giggling as she tumbled onto the floor. "Mama, what you doin'?" she asked, her laughter contagious.
Brina couldn't help but join in the laughter. Mizu's innocent giggle was like music to her ears, a reminder of the joy and love that filled their home. "I was just playin' with you, baby," Brina replied, reaching out to fix her daughter's hair.
Mizu beamed up at her mother, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "You funny, Mama," she said, her voice filled with affection. "I love you."
Brina's heart melted at those words. She leaned down to press a kiss on Mizu's forehead. "I love you too, my little sunshine," she whispered. Just then Megumi came into the room.
"Hey baby, food's almost done" He mentioned. "Wee" Mizu cheered as she once again, placed her head and hands on the floor while looking between her legs. "Not today" Brina grumbled as she pushed Mizu with her foot again, trying to suppress a laugh.
