Brina got out of bed, slow as molasses, her body feeling heavy from the previous night's revelry. Sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm golden glow over the room.
As she stretched and yawned, she couldn't help but smile at the memories of the party, both the drama and the laughter.
Megumi was still sleeping soundly beside her, his features softened in slumber. She brushed a gentle kiss against his forehead, whispering words of love to him in the quiet of the morning.

With a sigh, Brina headed to the bathroom to freshen up. The bathroom tiles felt cool under her feet as she reached for the cabinet, grabbing her toothbrush. After her morning routine, Brina headed to the kitchen to find something to eat.
She opened the fridge and saw she still had the candied fruit Alicia made. Brina couldn't resist the temptation and grabbed a few pieces, savoring the sweet and tangy flavors that exploded in her mouth.
As Brina enjoyed the candied fruit, she glanced at the clock and realized that she had to go to the photography meet-up scheduled for that morning.
It was an opportunity she couldn't afford to miss, even if her body was protesting against the idea of getting up and going out.
