When Brina arrived at the venue for the meet and greet, she felt a mix of excitement and nerves. She stepped out of her car and took a deep breath, fixing her edges and making sure she didn't look a hot mess in her car's rearview mirror.
Walking into the spot, the convos were poppin', and she saw familiar faces all around. Other photographers, artists, and creatives were mixing and vibing, spreading their energy like wildfire.
Brina worked her way through the crowd, throwin' out greetings and smiles to people she knew and respected. But when she saw Daniel, the same dude who gave Megumi a hard time in middle school, her mood changed.

Brina clenched her jaw, but she wasn't letting him mess with her day. "You want a drink?" someone asked, and she turned to find a friendly face.
"Yeah, hook it up," Brina replied, her grin coming back as she grabbed the drink. "You Brina Makino?" The person next to her inquired, sounding intrigued
"Oh, yes, please," Brina replied, her smile returning as she accepted the drink. "Are you Brina Makino?" The person next to her asked, their tone intrigued. Brina turned to face them, her expression curious.
"Yup, that's me," she said, almost forgetting she now goes by Brina Fushiguro. "Nice to meet you, I'm Silas," he said, throwing out a hand for a dap. Brina shook it with a warm smile.
"That's a unique name. What's the story behind it?" she wondered. Silas chuckled. "Yeah, it's Latin, means 'of the woods'. My folks are all about nature," he broke it down.
