Brina and Jasmine was lit, jamming to Megan Thee Stallion while they tackled the task of cleaning up the backyard.
The sun was beaming down, and the music was blaring through the speakers, setting the perfect vibe for some serious outdoor work.
Brina, her hair tied up in a colorful scarf, and Jasmine, sporting a '90s-inspired crop top and baggy jeans, made quite the duo as they swept leaves and tidied up the overgrown flower beds.
"Ay, sis! Don't forget you a mother!" Jasmine teased, her voice carrying genuine affection. Brina paused her dance, grinning at her sister. "Y'know, being a mom doesn't mean I can't have some fun every now and then," she replied, swaying to the music.
"Ok, but what you gon do when baba sees you?" The laughter between the sisters echoed in the sunny backyard. "Brina!" Megumi called from the porch. Brina turned toward Megumi, flashing a bright smile.
"Whatcha need, baby?" She asked, ready for whatever he needed. "I need to talk to you, in private," Megumi said, his expression serious. Brina exchanged a quick look with Jasmine, who nodded in understanding before resuming her dance moves with the broom as if nothing had happened.
Brina followed Megumi to a quieter corner of the backyard, the music fading into the background. She couldn't help but wonder what had prompted this serious conversation.
"What's going on?" she asked, her concern evident in her voice.
Megumi took a deep breath before speaking. "I was using your phone 'cause mine's charging, and I accidentally clicked a notification from your flo app. Why didn't you tell me you were ten days late?" Megumi's voice held a mix of surprise and concern as he revealed what he had discovered.
