"Babbby! Hurry up the moving truck is here!" Brina's voice rang out from the living room, a mixture of excitement and urgency in her tone.
The sunlight streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room that was now filled with boxes and furniture waiting to be loaded onto the moving truck.
Megumi walked out of the master bedroom, "I'm coming! Damn" he called back. He walked over to where Brina was.
She held a clipboard in her hand, checking off items on the inventory list. "We making progress," she said with a satisfied smile. "Just a lil' bit more to pack, and we'll be set."
Megumi wrapped his arms around her stomach and kissed her cheek. "I can't believe we're finally moving into our new place," he said, his voice filled with a mixture of happiness and disbelief.
"Tell me 'bout it," Brina replied, leaning into his embrace. "But chill with the belly rubs, I ain't pregnant." She grumbled. Megumi chuckled, his arms still around Brina.
"Sorry, force of habit," he admitted with a sheepish smile. "But who knows, maybe someday..." Brina gave his arm another hit.
"Move! Let's focus on settlin' into the new spot first," she joked. "We got a lot on our plate today." "Mornin' gorgeous. You sleep well?" Brina greeted Mizu, who looked a bit cranky as she entered the room.
