"And that was when I came back outside. I already called the police, but I don't know where they are.." The guys had helped Min-Sun to her feet and she leaned against the rail for balance. She looked over the rail to the street below to find no sign of movement much less the police. She stared back at the three boys in front of her clueless of what to do now.

"Do you think we need to call them again? Maybe they forgot." Felix looked over to Chan suggesting something.

"In all honestly I was kind of out of it when I called, they might not have gotten the correct information. They are probably at the wrong address as we speak." Min-Sun let out a bitter chuckle. It was true though, she could barely remember much of the conversation.  All she could remember was the operator with no enthusiasm and calm voice that frustrated her beyond measures.

"I'll call them again so that they know-" before Felix could finish typing in the number, there was the sound of a a car traveling down the street and Min-Sun looked over the rail to see that the officers had finally arrived. "No need." She nodded towards the street and the boys looked over the rail to see two officers getting out of their vehicle and climbing up the stairs.

When they finally reached the top of the stairs they came over to the four college kids and introduced themselves before the female officer began to ask multiple questions. "Who is the resident of this house?" Min-Sun raised her hand slightly and stepped forward from her position at the railing. "Can you explain what happened for us?" She looked over to the house and Min-Sun nodded before giving them the same information that she had previously given the guys.

The female officer listened and nodded while Min-Sun told her her story while the male officer went inside with a camera to possibly take pictures of the whole scene. "Did you happen to notice anything was missing?" The female officer pulls Min-Sun's attention back to her and she nod her head no.  If she was honest though she didn't really focus on anything missing as much as how much stuff had been destroyed.

"You don't know anyone who may have done this?" Min-Sun paused for a second before saying no. Before two weeks ago she wasn't even a part of this world, much less had she had time to meet people in the present one.  Everyone she met was really friendly and her friends seemed like the last people to do this to her.

Before the female officer could ask her another question, the male officer walked up to her and whispered something into her ear. She nodded before turning to Min-Sun as the male officer walked away towards the door to the housing unit.

"Do you have anywhere else you can stay for the time being? Unfortunately it is getting late and we can not send the amount of reinforcement to check on your situation as we would like.  We would take your contact information and contact you as soon as you can come back."  Min-Sun stared at her and was at a loss for words.  Another place? She barely knew this is where she lived in the first place. How was she to go about finding another place to live?

She wondered about getting a hotel for the time being.  It would cut down on food for the next month, but if she took some overtime she might be able to get some more money for a while. While she was stuck in her own internal monologue, Jeongin stepped up to talk to the officer.

"She will come stay with us for the time being." Min-Sun looked at Jeongin with confusion.  He hadn't even discussed this with any of them.  She looked over to Chan and Felix for confirmation and saw they were nodding. Min-Sun was gonna say something in protest but was once again cut off by the female officer. "Great, you are allowed to go inside to pack a bag, but we will follow you to make sure that none of the evidence we have seen so far has been tampered with."

She looked between everyone in confusion.  She was confused with how fast everyone was moving while she felt like she was moving at a snail pace.  She was feeling like she wasn't even in her own body at the moment and she was watching the whole event from somewhere else.  Her stomach was churning, her hands felt like pins and needles were running through them, and her muscles hurt.  The last thing she wanted was to go back in and see it all.

Min-Sun swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat and looked at the doorway. She contemplated if she truly needed to go inside to get any of her stuff or if she could live without it. Surely she could live with this outfit for the next day or two, maybe three.

She was going to tell the guys her plan before someone grabbed her wrist.  When she looked she saw Felix smiling at her. "Come on let's get this over with okay? Close your eyes and I'll guide ya, yeah?" She stared at his sincere eyes not really wanting to go in.  She knew she had to though, she couldn't go to class or work in the same outfit three days in a row.  She closed her eyes letting Felix grab her hand guiding her through the house to her room.  He was very gentle guiding her through the house careful to avoid the glass and overturned furniture.

At some point he stopped and Min-Sun held his hand tighter.  Felix squeezed her hand to show her that she was still okay.  She heard a door open and Felix pulled her forward before telling her she could open her eyes.  She watched as Felix propped the door open for the male officer to keep an eye on them.

When she glanced around the room she was surprised to see it was one of the only rooms in the entire house that was untouched.  She glanced all around the room seeing if anything was out of place before Felix waved a hand to get her attention. "Y/N? Do you have a suitcase or bag to put some stuff in?" She broke out of her trance and nodded pointing underneath her bed.  Felix reached down and pulled out an olive green cloth suitcase.

He looked back over to Min-Sun and she stared at him not sure what to do at the moment. "Minnie, pack up some of your clothes okay? I'll grab some supplies from the bathroom. Anything you can think of important in there?"  She struggled to think in that moment feeling like her head was swimming. "Just my face wash and lotion.." She trailed off. She didn't know what else she needed, but that was a start and probably as good as he was gonna get.

Felix nodded before heading over to the bathroom, leaving Min-Sun by herself to try and collect herself as well as some clothes.  She went over to the dresser and pulled out some clothes she figured she might wear, before opening another drawer and grabbing some underclothes as well as sleep clothes.

After placing all her clothes in the suitcase, she went over to her desk and grabbed her backpack that was full of her work for university as well as her laptop.  She packed her laptop charger and phone charger in the bag before placing it on top of her bed.  After placing the bag down she reached underneath her mattress for her emergency supply of money. She packed it into one of the pockets in her backpack and looked around the room for anything else before trying to close the suitcase.

Felix came back into the room with a bag full of bathroom supplies and she gave him a funny look. She was gonna ask what was in the bag but the male officer came into the room to ask us to leave if we were done.

She took the bag from Felix and put it into the suitcase before completely closing it up.  She grabbed her backpack and then grabbed her suitcase and looked to Felix. He held out his hand and she put her hand in his and closed her eyes one more time as he led her back outside. When she opened her eyes the sun had completely gone down and the only light they had was from the security lights that surrounded the whole building.

After giving the officers her contact information and wishing them a goodnight, Min-Sun followed the boys down the stairs to Chan's car.  Jeongin who carried her suitcase down stairs, put it in the trunk before opening the door and letting Min-Sun get into the backseat. Jeongin sat beside her in the back while Felix sat in the passenger seat and Chan in the drivers seat.

They all were silent as Chan pulled away from the building heading to their home.  Min-Sun stared out the window to the house wondering how she ever got to this point.
