Chapter 13

A witch. It had to have been a Witch. Wait, Vampires can control minds can they not? But not another Vampire..right? The Supernatural world was so effortlessly confusing. There were rules, some that made sense some that didnt. Hope was flipping through this books like a drug, she was addicted and she needed answers. What happened to her that night? It had to have been about 3AM. She had stayed up reading these old fairytales stories trying to figure out the impossible and now she was utterly exhausted.

She sighed, shoving the books off her bed with no prevail of getting any closer to what she had been looking for. "This is dumb" She groaned, mad at her self for finding this impossible.

"You put too much weight on your shoulders, little wolf"

"I have to protect him. Hes the one whos going to save the world one day"

"Its a tiny cut. He'll be okay" She looked to her little brother, he was acting tough but something in her told her that he was in pain. He had fallen playing tag with her and like all the witches claimed her to be the darkness that'll destroy they're world. She could've gotten her brother killed. They we're playing on a hill, a very high one at that. She was lucky enough to have had caught him before he went over the edge. She might've saved him but she also endangered him. She had to be smarter than that.

"But it could have been worse." Young Hope grumbled. Determined to ignore her dads words. "You're kids. You're bound to get hurt some time. Thats apart of growing up. You worry too much little wolf. And one day thats going to set you back. You can worry but just dont overdue it."

She missed her dad. She missed her family, they kept her grounded. Now she was left alone to protect Liam.

She closed her eyes, letting sleep take her over.

"Liam!" She yelled, pushing him out of the way as an arrow came for him. She yelped as it shot through her leg. "No!" He yelled, grabbing her hand and taking her behind the table with him. "Why would you do that?" He asked, messing with the arrow that was lodged through her leg. She hissed at the pain as he yanked it out. "I can heal" She closed her eyes, focusing on the cut. "I can too, stop trying to risk your life for me" He grumbled, looking at the hole that had already vanished.

What she didnt expect was for a monster to come from behind slitting her brothers throat right before her. Her eyes widened as his blood splattered all over her face. "No! No no no! What have you done!" She yelled, tackling the villain to the ground.

She tore his mask off, revealing it to be none other than they're father. "Dad..." she moved back, stunned at the fact that it was him. "You cant always protect him" He stood up, his eyes dark with yellow orbs. "So distracted by your own pain you didnt even see me coming" He chuckled, walking closer to her as she backed in to the wall. "You're weak, pathetic. You'll never protect him."

She gasped, awoken from her nightmare. She rubbed her eyes, looking around the room to find herself still in bed. A tear dropped from her eyes as she recalled the dream. She was petrified. She needed to hold it together. Whatever was happening to her she needed to figure it out now, or it could become a bigger problem.

She got dressed in her uniform, leaving her room like nothing had happened. Even tho she could still see her brothers throat getting slit. She could feel the drop in her heart, the anger that had taken her over.

"Babe. Are you okay?" The brunette asked, stirring Hope from out of her thoughts. "Josie..." A small smile came across her face at seeing her bestfriend. "You seemed kind've spaced."

"No, everythings fine"

"You finally left your room, Mikaelson" Lizzie came from behind, her hand laid on the auburnettes shoulder. Liam and Theo followed behind her, it was like you could never find one without the other. They were glue and paper. "You must be feeling better" Theo spoke, giving her a small nod.
