Chapter 9

"What are you—what happened?"

"Ky wasnt who he said he was, he lied and he has my dad."  Jo bent over to Hopes level. Who was still kneeling by her brothers side. "Its going to be okay" The brunette spoke, she was so close to the girl. Her scent was something Hope would never want to stop breathing in. Liam sat up with a groan, his older sister grabbed hold of his arm tightly. "I need your help, Jo." Help wasnt something that came easy to the Mikaelsons. They rarely asked for it, instead they forced it.

The brunette knew this was serious the moment those words left the auburnettes mouth. "But I cant let anyone else get hurt"

"This was my fault, I shouldnt have trusted him. I should have listened to you." Liam held his head down. "And I shouldnt have let my guard down" She replied, blaming herself as always.

"This is nobodies fault, we need to talk to my dad. Ky's going to be back." Jo explained. "Stay here"

"Ky Mikaelson?" Her dad leaned against the desk, skeptical of the story his daughter had just enlightened him with. "Yeah except hes not a Mikaelson, hes somebody else"

"And I let him in to our school" Her dad sighed, looking to the ceiling with regret. "I'm telling your mother to get down here, we'll handle this"

"No, dad. You're only human."

"But I'm also a Vampire hunter" He reached in his desk pulling out a cross bow. "And I still got it"

Jo returned to the auburnettes room, this time with her sister by herside.

"My dad said he'll handle it"

Hope scoffed "Your dad thinks he can handle anything, the last time he tried to handle something he almost got himself killed"

"Thats exactly why Jo and I have devised our own plan, a supersquad plan"

The auburnette turned to her brother with a raised brow "Wheres Theo?" Liam asked, looking between the two and cutting off the blondes plan. "Hes with our dad"

The red head stood up "We dont even know what Ky is, we have no idea of his special abilities. Theres no way—"

Liams words cut out, Hopes heart slowly pounded as if something bad was about to happen and she could sense it. Woosh...The sound caught her ear, the door breaking right behind the brunette. "JO!" Hope called, it was a split second decision for the girl to reach out taking the brunettes body in to her own hold.

Lizzie was shoved to the side by Hopes free hand, Liam being the one to catch her without a thought

Hope was hit once, then a second time. With tiny pieces of wood her body was taking multiple hits in the amount of milliseconds.

Liam pulled the two to the ground, the brunette was unscaved thanks to the auburnette who was dazed. "Hope!" Liam pulled her behind the drawer with him and Lizzie.

"Get them out" She cried already plucking the few she could reach. Jo's eyes widened at the many tiny pieces that lodged their way in to her back.

"HOPE MIKAELSON!!" It was a familiar voice, one of anger. She turned to Liam, his eyes wide spread with happiness at the sound of their dads voice. She shook her head, knowing the difference between his two voices from the time she accidentally astro projected to him.

But Liam was already up, already gone. The only reason their father didnt get his hand on the boy was because of Theo. He heard that same voice, one hes only heard over the phone but with a different tone. He leaped in to the boy, knocking him through the windows of the school and out of the mans eye sight.
