Chapter 27

THEO

Theo groaned, a gun had swung his way and knocked him across the face breaking his nose in the process.

Liam stood up, picking a pistol from off the ground and shooting it. He continued pushing the trigger, all the bullets unloaded on to the man. His body fell backwards in to the pool. The younger boy threw his Pistol to the side, running over to his friends.

What he didn't expect was to see Jo laid out on the ground, her stomach covered in blood. "Oh fuck !"

Hope stood up from behind him, her face dropped at the condition Josie was in. She shoved Liam aside, falling to her knees. "No, no" She cried out. This was the first time Theo had seen the girl break down, the first time her face wasn't bland.

A tear fell from his eye, watching as his sister coughed up blood. "Jo—please" Hope begged, grabbing hold of the brunettes hand. "Please dont do this to me"

She bit her wrist, trying to force it into Jo's mouth. "Take it!" She yelled, applying pressure to the girls wound. When her bite healed she bit her wrist again, shoving it towards Jo's mouth. "Please" She begged, watching as the light faded in the girls eyes.

She cried out, slamming her fist in to the ground.

Liam stood there, tears fell from his cheeks. There was nothing but silence and Hopes screams.

She crawled closer to her girlfriend, her hand going up to cup the girls cheek, leaving a smear of blood on her face. She tried to listen for a heartbeat, for anything. But there was nothing, not a single beat. She dropped her head on to the girls chest, crying into her.

"Please come back" She cried, gripping the girl's shirt which was covered in blood. "Please !!"

"Hope .." Liam let her name roll off his tongue softly, knowing nothing he could say would help her.

Theo slid down the wall, letting his head fall into his hands. "This cant be happening" He mumbled.

Jade ran down the steps "Hey—we got a problem" She looked to Liam, her eyes landing on him since he had been the only one still standing. He slowly glanced up at her, his eyes were a light pink.

"Wheres Jo?" She asked, her eyes landed on Hope. The girl was still bent over, her cries were now echoing throughout the room. "Is tha—"

Liam nodded, looking back down to her now pale body. Jades eyebrows lifted, her hand reached for her chest.

Her eyes shot towards Hope with anger, she needed someone to blame. And if Hope would have just left Jo to be happy with her this wouldnt have happened, the brunette would have still been alive.

She shook her head. Liam noticed the change in her composure as she marched down the stairs.

"This is all your fa—" Hopes hand stuffed itself into Jades chest. She slowly stood up, making sure to not rip out the girl's heart just yet. Their eyes connected, Hopes seemed as if there was no emotion behind them. Jade had to wonder if the girl flipped her switch again.

Liam took a cautious step forward, his hand landed on the girls arm. "Hope..Dont do this" He whispered. She turned to him, yanking her arm out of the Vampires chest.

He looked to her hand, seeing that it was empty. He sighed with relief, watching as his sister fell back down. "I'll go help.. upstairs" Liam spoke, looking between the two. He wasn't sure what more he could do down here but to let them grieve. He wiped the tears from his eyes, puffing his chest out.

He didnt know exactly what he was expecting but he did know this wasnt it.

He raced over to the girl. "Whats wrong with her?!" He asked, looking up to the small group.
