Chapter 35

"Well this looks worse than how we left it" Liam bit his lip, looking at their school. The sun had completely set, the moon being their only light source to see where they had to go. Their school looked like a piece of burnt toast, just the common room tho. It seemed as if the explosion hadn't traveled.

"Better than nothing" Theo took the lead, making his way inside. The auburn haired boy rolled his eyes, still annoyed with Theo. He could hardly stand the boy now, their conversations were limited to mutual group discussions.

Liam grabbed Hope from Jo's arm. Wrapping his arm around her side to help the girl walk. "Come on, Children !" Theo shouted, the lights beamed from inside their school. The group had made their way in through the Kitchen door.

Theo passed a blood bag to Hope, hoping the girl would drink it without a fight. Mg sped through, stopping right infront of Theo with a bat in his hands. It was instinct for Liam to pull the boy back.

"You guys are a live !" He shouted with a bright smile.

The blue eyed boy glanced back, looking to the pale hand on his shoulder. Liam pulled back, looking to the floor. "Of course we are" Hope coughed, a drop of blood dripped to the floor which she quickly stepped on, hoping no one had noticed.

MG tilted his head to the side "You look ... Bad"

"Tell me something I dont know" She spat. "Wheres Lizzie?"

The blonde made her entrance, flipping her blond locks to the side. "You missed me?"

The two Saltzmans ran towards her, engulfing their sister in a tight hug. She hugged the two back, she'd never admit it but she was worried and her heart ached not knowing where the two were, or if they were okay. She smiled against the hug, inhaling their smell.

"We're so glad you're okay" Jo spoke up, pulling away first. "I know you guys are literally nothing without me."

"Wheres Maya?" Liam asked, looking around the corner for the girl.

"I didnt see her" MG mumbled, his superhero pose went slump. His hands going from his hips to his sides. "We still have more to do" Hope wiped off her forehead, stumbling to the counter.

"Why does she look like that?" Lizzie whispered, talking to her siblings. "I think shes dying" Theo replied, his eyes trained on the auburnette. "I can hear you !" She yelled, pointing her finger at the group.

"I'm not dying, Its just taking longer for my healing to kick in"

The three glanced at eachother, all their faces had grown soft before they looked to Liam. Theo's heart practically dropped, the boy looked completely lost. With Maya his new bestfriend gone and Hope on the verge of death he basically lost everything he had left.

"I—I uh..." His eyes glistened in the darkness, Theo could tell he was fighting against the tears. "Have to go" He finished, racing off.

Theo turned back to his siblings, as if looking for a sign of consent to leave. "Go" Jo mouthed. He nodded, racing after the young Wolf.

"Liam." He called, grabbing the boys shoulder and pulling him back. The auburn haired boy didn't dare to look at Theos face. His tears were beginning to fall and with everything going on he had no clue where to start.

"Li.." Theo mumbled the boys name, pulling him in for a hug. Liam let it happen, his emotions being too much to deny Theo's comfort. After all he needed this, he needed someone.

Theo's hand went up to the back of the boys neck, his arm wrapped around his waist as the two stood there. Liam basically collapsed into the blue eyed boys embrace.
