Chapter 15

"We're here" Theo stood infront of a building. It was an old hospital. Still in good condition, pretty much abandoned. There was graffiti all over it, different colors.

"You brought us to an abandoned hospital.." Lizzie looked at her older brother as if he was stupid. "Yeah, you got a problem with it?" He quirked a brow at her.

"Yes, its disgusting"

He laughed "You havent even seen the inside yet"

"I think its pretty cool" Liam shrugged, already walking towards the doors. Hope felt something weird in her chest, a bad feeling. She glanced around the area, cautious of anything that had been following them. If she never noticed Penelope what else has she not noticed?

"You can wait out here if you want" The ravenette shrugged. "Cant promise you'll be safe"

The blonde huffed, deciding to follow everyone else inside.

Liams eyes lit up, there was dust everywhere but also paint. "This is awesome"

"Its nothing but a dust ridden building" The blonde commented, moving away from the dirty hospital bed. "Dont give up on it just yet, babe" Hope whispered to the girl before walking up to the rest of the group. She stood beside the brunette, smiling up at her.

Her ears perked up at the sound of someone breathing far away. Hey Hope

She looked around. Without trying to alarm anyone she decided to go find out who that was for herself. "Where are you going?" Jo asked, watching the girl try to sneak off. "I just wanted some time to myself." She shrugged.

"We dont know this place, let me come with you" This was really just an excuse for the brunette to have some one on one time with the auburnette. "No, I think it would be better if I went by myself"

"Please" The brunette pleaded. Hope blinked, feeling dumbfounded. "Ok." She said regretfully.

The brunette smiled, grabbing hold of the shorter girls hand. Hope blinked, how did holding another's hand even feel different from when she was alive. She couldn't held but smile at how the touch made her feel, she felt real.

She lowered her head, listening closely to the breathing in order to follow it.

She furrowed her brows, looking back to Josie. "Stay here."

"We're not splitting up"

"I'll be right back, I promise"

"What are you hiding, Hope? You can tell me anything you know."

Hope tightened her jaw "I dont want you getting hurt. Just stay here" She began to walk off, pushing the doors infront of her open. "No, we're in this together" Jo followed right behind, the doors shut loudly behind them. She could hear a lock. She gulped, looking back at Hope. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" She yelled, running to the doors. She tried to shove them open but it was as if they were spelled.

"Josie, siphon these" She looked back when she didnt receive a reply. The brunette stood there a person dressed in all white held her against his chest.

"Jo—"

"You found me" They laughed "And you brought a snack too."

"No, shes not for you" The auburnette cautiously moved closer. "Oh really? Who said you make the rules Mikaelson."

Her jaw tightened, her eyes looking around for anything. Before she could even think the person threw the brunette to her. She caught the taller girl, instantly moving infront of her. She held her arm out, staring into the mask. "Have you been messing with my head?" She asked, furious.

"Are you talking about the nightmares?"

"How do you know about those" She squinted at the mask. "I'm not stupid, I have been fucking with you. But it hasnt just been me. Its been you too. You might be a Vampire now but you still have human feelings." They shrugged, moving closer. "Plus I was in Malivore, just as you. I remember how it was in there. Empty, lonely..quiet. Endless"

"You've been having nightmares about Malivore?" Jo asked, feeling blind.

The auburnette ignored her. "What are you getting at?"

"I want your power" They shrugged. "Without the weakness thats holding you back, I could use it in the way it was meant to be used."

"I could give The Hollow her life long dream. Unlike you, you're not taking advantage of the power shes given you, its a gift. You're treating it like a curse. You're even afraid to use it right now."

"I'm not afraid. I just want Josie safe"

"And you could keep her safe, just let me take your power. Let me have it"

"And what would Hope giving you her magic do to her?"

"How would I know that?" They shrugged, moving closer. "If I dont get it from you nicely. I'll take it by force." They're tone changed, more menacing. A way of trying to scare the young Trbrid. She scoffed, a smirk appearing on her face. "You must not fully know who I am."

The masked person paused, their head cocked to the side. "I'm a Mikaelson." Her eyes glowed a gold color. "A fully activated Tribrid. You really think I should be afraid of you? I can smell the blood in your veins. You're nothing but a mere human. You cant even touch me."

"You tried to blind me, to surprise attack me. To scare me, you cant scare me. I'm already dead" She chuckled, moving forward. "I can smell the fear on you" She sniffed the air, continuing to move closer as they backed away. "The fear isnt for me...its for you" The masked vigilante jumped at her, tackling her to the ground. She kicked them off her, jumping up and throwing a punch, cracking their mask in the process.

"I'm trying to help you !" They shouted. "You cant handle that magic, Hope ! Just give it to me."

"No." She growled, slashing at their armor with her claws. They moved back with each hit she threw.

"Why not?" They asked, pinned against the wall. "You just told me you knew the Hollow. You're not taking my power to use it for evil. I'm keeping it far out of your hands for as long as I live."

They chuckled "Are you sure about that?"

She furrowed her brows, confused at their cockiness. Their fingers snapped, Hope was grabbed from behind. Thrown like a rag doll. "You might be able to hurt me. But can you hurt her?" They asked, moving forward they bent down before her on the ground. "Josie?" She asked, looking behind them at the brunette. Her eyes were pitch black. "What did you do to her?"

"I've studied you Hope. I knew you before you were even born. I know who you're going to fall in love with. I know who you're already in love with. I know everything about you and you made a promise to never hurt her. So either she'll kill you and take your magic, or you'll kill her."
