Chapter 14

"Do you really think this is a good idea? To disobey our father like this?" Josie asked, she was walking the streets with her siblings and the Mikaelsons.

"Stop being so paranoid, we're kids its time to let lose and have fun !" Theo pointed out "Not like we're getting any younger"

Liam hummed, his eyes had been focused on Theo most of the walk. He had no idea where they were going. Theo suggested just going on a walk as a group. He said it was a way to trick Hope into getting real fresh air.

"Or any older" Penelope added, smirking at Hope. "Park? What the hell are you doing here?" The blonde jumped at her presence.

"You really think I'd let you just leave the school? You thought nobody would notice?"

"We were mostly just hoping that you wouldnt notice" The auburnette commented, moving closer to the girl. She just rolled her eyes, not at all threated by the big bad Mikaelson. "Jojo, I'm really hurt you didnt invite me, after all we did have the best love story of the school"

"Did as in past tense shedevil, leave my sister out of this." Lizzie hissed. "Nobody invited you for the sole reason of not wanting you here" Liam added, crossing his arms over his chest.

Penelope laughed "Look at the young Mikaelson finally gaining a voice. I'm guessing that Saltzman boy finally rubbed off on you."

Theo grumbled "Go back to the school, Park."

"Or what?"

"Or—I'll make you" Theo stuck his chest out. The ravenette just laughed at this "Okay..sure. Where are we going anyways?"

"Theres no we, Penelope. Go home" Jo finally spoke, giving the ravenette the meanest glare she could give. "This was for Hope, not you"

"Hope?" Penelope turned to the auburnette, annoyed at the fact that her name was coming out of her ex girlfriends mouth. And coincidentally the same girl she slept with.

"Leave." Hopes eyes flashed a gold, with her emotions on the rise and heightened it was hard to control all her powers at once. Being a Tribrid was a lot more than just s threatening name.

The ravenette sighed. Seeing how everybody was looking at her it really didnt seem like her place to spy on them. She actually felt guilty, she felt sad. Looking into the auburnettes eyes, she found them to be different. Empty. You notice a lot in the eyes of the girl you've slept with.

"Let me tag along, I promise to be good"

"Why would you even want to?" Hope asked, she was standing like her brother. They even had the same mean glare. The ravenette rolled her eyes, moving closer to the auburnette. She leaned in. "Apart from the act I put on. I actually care about you Mikaelson. What we had was short but it was real."

Hope furrowed her brows, whispering back at the girl. "You just want to jump down Josies pants. This has nothing to do with me, Park."

She backed away, a smirk on her face. "As much as I'd love to do that. I'm actually doing this for you. You and you're brother have been through a lo—-"

"Okay, we get it" The younger boy cut in. "You can stay, but keep your comments to yourself"

"What?" The three Saltzmans looked at Liam like he was crazy.

"What? We could use the extra company." He shrugged. "Hes not wrong" Hope shrugged. "I'm sure we could last a few hours with her."

Lizzie scoffed. "This is stupid."

"Dont be a priss, Saltzman." Penelope straightened her posture. "Where are we even going?" She asked, not knowing which direction she should lead them in.

Theo smirked, he was the only one who knew their destination. "You'll find out when we get there"

The group began to walk as Theo did. Liam by his side, Hope was in the middle. The two twins behind her and Penelope well she was in the back.

"Do you think she loves me?" Lizzie whispered, not wanting the auburnette to hear her. Jo turned her head, blinking. "Who? Penelope?" She asked, already knowing the answer. "No! Of course not her. Hope, I'm talking about Hope"

"Why would you be talking about Hope?" Penelope interjected, moving between the two. "None of your business whale witch"

Jo blinked, clasping her hands together in a way of ignoring the two. "Should it might be because Jojo likes her?" Penelope began "After all I know—"

"I dont like Hope" Jo interjected, cutting the girl off before she could finish. "No, Josie doesnt like Hope, right?" Lizzie asked, pleading eyes. "Of course not" The brunette waved it off, laughing in a more convincing way.

Penelope squinted at the brunette, her eyes told Josie all she needed to hear. "So that means...you like her." Penelope coughed, choking on the words before her. "I always thought Ethan was lying" She laughed. "You're gay"

"I am not !" Lizzie scolded, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm more of a man whore actually. Me and Sebastian have gotten really close"

"Man whore? Isnt that a word for men who are whores?" The ravenette chuckled a bit. "Forget it Park, why dont you walk somewhere else. They're's a free road right there. Walk on it"

"So I can get hit and leave poor Josie with you? No way in hell."

The ravenette walked up, determined to speak to the auburnette. "Hey Mikaelson" She smirked, glancing back at the twins. She could see how pale Lizzies eyes were.

"I dont want to be bothered right now, Park" Hopes fists balled up. Clinging to all her emotions and power was eating her up. This whole walk she had been trying not to burst, trying not to destroy everything like she was born to do. Her fist closed tightly, her nails digging into her hands as she fought the power within.

Penelopes brows furrowed, looking over the girl. Seeing the expression of distress on her face. "Are you alright.." She asked, worry flooded in her eyes.

The girl didn't reply. The voices telling her to let go were loud, too loud. She argued with them, she fought with them. She refused to ever lose control, to ever take advantage of anyone. She was good.

Parks demeanor changed, she reached for the girls hand. The auburnette pulled back, fighting against the touch. "Let me help you" She whispered angrily. "You cant" The auburnette finally looked up, the veins under her eyes threatened the ravenette

"I can" Josie pushed the ravenette aside, grabbing the auburnettes hand with force and taking away some of her magic. Hope gasped; the pain, the voices they were getting quieter. Jo's eyes widened at the magic she felt, it was eternal.

"Fuck" Jo mumbled, the magic was powerful. She knew Mikaelsons magic was dangerous and contained a lot of energy. But she didnt expect so much.

Hope turned, the veins under her eyes retracted. "Why would you do that? I could've hurt you"

"You once told me you'd never wish to hurt me. I trust you"

Liam finally looked back, seeing the scene that had already unfolded. "Hope, whats wrong?"

She looked up, her eyes soft. "I'm okay now"

Lizzie was stunned, she watched everything from behind. Unable to move, unlike Josie she was actually scared. Not of the Mikaelson but of her power. She knew how easy it was to lose control and she wasnt sure if the Mikaelson would be able to keep that control.

The auburnette glanced at Josie, grateful for what she had just done. "How did you know that would work?"

"I am a Gemini Witch." She shrugged. "Draining magic is what I do, I assumed it would work. It would make the most sense for it to. After all you're not invincible to magic. I've drained your magic before, It was no different from then. Other than the fact that you are way more powerful" She took a deep breath "It felt..good" She giggled.
