Sebastian’s POV

‘Why am I here, Lucian?’ I asked as I stared straight into his eyes. He said nothing as he polishes his sword with a smirk on his face. ‘What did you do?’ I asked as suspicion arose through my thought. Is he trying to put me together with some other woman again?

‘Hey, don’t think like that!’ Lucian said as though he was hurt. Yes, I have to remind myself to stop forgetting that he could read minds. I sighed and shook my head as I waited for his answer. ‘Don’t you want to get yourself someone else? I mean, since her death, you’re like a soulless body walking around.’ Lucian said.

‘I would never want any other woman in my life, Lucian! Stop trying to change the fact that I have frozen this heart of mine, because this is preserved for only one person and one person only!’ I shouted with anger as I could feel power leaking out. Lucian’s eyes instantly widen and he jumped out of his seat as though he was ready to fight. ‘Your death is near Lucian.’ I said as I growled with anger and my wings burning against my back to spread out. A smirk spread across my face and Lucian’s as well. We both glared at each other anticipating for each other to start the fight. My body aching for me lunge first but I knew better than to lunge towards a telekinetic mind reader. I stood my ground and without hesitation, I spread my wings across the room. Somehow, with my wings spread, the room seems much smaller. The floor frozen into shinny ice and Lucian growled in dislike.

‘You would never know what you might be missing if you keep going on like this, brother.’ Lucian said. I growled once again. I didn’t care about what I would miss because my soul and body is already missing one part and that is my heart. This heart of mine is kept away for one person only, that is Josephine and she is gone! My power rushed out like a stream of water from the waterfall, the windows burst to shards of glass and the door bang open. I glared at Lucian like a mad man but Lucian stood back up in his normal lazy stand. He smirks as I heard a gasp from behind of me. ‘Do you need something, Your Highness?’ Lucian asked.

Instantly, I turned to face her and her face was pale white in shock as she fell to the back in fear. I rolled my eyes and shook my head in her weak reaction. What does she want from me now?

‘What are you?’ She asked in fear. I stared down at her and turned away without bothering. I folded back my wings as I took my sword and armor. I could feel Lucian staring at me in shock. ‘Hey! You’re supposed to help her up.’ Lucian shouted. Ignoring him, I pulled over my cloak and begin walking with my sword and armor in hand. ‘Where are you going?!’ Lucian asked in anger and frustration.

As I walked out, I paused and stare down at the girl. ‘Don’t worry, princess. You won’t be seeing me anymore. Rest assure that the deal about your mother is not cut off. I would not take the price and your people will not be harmed.’ I said to her and continue to walk away.

‘Unbelievable! After all I have done to get you two together!’ Lucian grunted and took his stuff and walked with me as well.
